My final draft (to be confirmed) is to run a 15 minute qualifying session for both races
(some long tracks will either be longer qualifying or random grid) with the races lasting
approx 30 minutes each based on average lap time i.e Nordschliefe roughly 10 minute lap
so a 3 lap race (would be 6 as its longer race) Points will be f1 style i.e. 25,18,15. there
will be 1 point given for fastest lap in each race and 1 point for pole position in each race.
The longer races will be the length of 2 normal races and double points will be on offer for them
. An extra 10 points is on offer for winning a series (mini championship as it were) with the person
with most total points over the twenty weeks being crowned Project Cars first IFR champion
I have slightly changed my opinion on how the cars will be selected i think if we split the calender
into 5 sections of 4 week periods and used a different class for each section.
With the 2 karting tracks being raced in karts obviously

My suggestion is as follows

Clio Cup series
4th June-Nurburgring/Sakhito
11th June-Brand hatch indy/Hockenheim
18th June-Oschersleben/Zhuhai
25th June-Laguna seca (special long race)

Catterham series
2nd July-California highway/ Sonoma raceway
8th July-Cadwell Park (Special long race)
15th July-Oulton park/dubai autodrome
22nd July-Snetterton 300/willow springs

Formula A Series
29th July-Road america (special long race)
5th August-Imola (special long race)
12th August-Silverstone/Catalunya
19th August-Azure coast/Monza

GT3 Series
26th August-Nordschliefe (special long race)
2nd September-Donigton park (special long race)
9th September-Glencairn/Zolder
16th September- Spa (special long race)

LMP1 Series
23rd September-Brno/Greenwood
30th September-Azure circuit/watkins glenn
7th October-Bathurst (special long race)
14th October-Le man (special long race)

Rules will be as follows:

Force realistic aids:no
Allow abs, traction control and stability control:yes to all 3
Damage:full damage
Mechanical failures:yes
Tire wear :Real
Fuel usage:real

Weather will be set to random but if 2 races in a row are wet, then clear will be selected for next 2 races then reverts back to random

We are going to be running a time trial championship for Project Cars, this will consist of 10 events on 10 different tracks, with various cars.

Each event will be posted on a Sunday, starting on the 24th May, and run to the following Friday, all ending on the 21st July.

Each week any participant will need to upload there fastest lap to whatever video service that their chosen platform can upload to, then post a link in the specific event thread within the Project Cars area.

To set up the weather conditions you will need to go the the Free Practice section of the main menu and start the event from there, you can make as many attempts as you like during the week.

To sort out the league positions, we will be running a World Rally Championship format, where each persons cumulative time is totaled and the lowest total is at the top of the table.

If someone wants to join the championship late, or misses an event, they will receive the slowest time of the week(s) that they missed added to their total time.

MrMatty - Ps4 - Markowizzard

Feel free to register your interest in the tournament below, I will post a trial event to see how this all works below.

Trial Event, Tuesday 12th May - Friday 15th May

Venue - Donington Park, GP Circuit

Car - Formula Rookie

Weather - Dry (Day)

Id love to join, but being in Canada, time differences likely wont allow me to be on at that time of day.

Anyone who wants to add me for casual racing, my info is below.

greetings eniallator can we start a North America division, or an Americas division? I'd be interested in running the circuit on this side if you would allow such an idea

SCRATCH this post, I've joined a community and a championship so I retract my wish to run a separate division.. cheers -- mindful racing everyone --
