Hey guys I'm finding when I play the game and either fall off the track or brake my headset stops working. It's a turtle beach xo one.

Is this a know issue?

Thanks Jonny

Try to plug in the charge cable, seem to work on the Official Xbox One headset! Try! :)

When charging from the underside the sound stops when braking. When charging from the rear port the sound works ok. Still this is an issue.... Not tried it with no charger cable attached

Hey there, new comer :)

I'm having the audio cut in and out with my turtle beaches, currently attempting a re-install as i'm having more than 1 issue.

I have XO Ones.
Sound drop under brakes only when controller is wireless. Work fine if controller connected to xbox with USB cord.

OR

turn force feedback to 0 in controls/configuration.
Sound works but you have no rumble.

Same here I'm using a Polk Striker ZX headset and under braking the sound cuts out. Only option is to leave the USB connected as no rumble feels wrong.

I found turnning the force feed back down to "0" stops the sound from cutting out, but this will stop the rumble in your pad.

Got the same audio problem using the official xbox one adaptor with a tritton headset. Really spoiling the game. Come on tech experts get the patch sorted fast please !

Connecting the pad via USB reduces the bug by about 80%.

Sorted it by turning off the force feedback

I get the exact same thing, used to happen on Forza when i was only in a Ferrari.

Same here with wireless headset (turtle beach) connected to controller. With headphones connected to amp, it's perfect. Needs to be fixed soon, can't play in multiplayer until this is fixed due to not being able to chat.

Same problem for me - I'm using the Microsoft stereo headset and when it's connected to the wireless pad all sound is cut off when braking!

How about the recently noticed squirrely sound issue? Not the breaking/Turn bug either. This other one is a whole new animal. Evolve had it as well.

I'm using Polk Audio headsets with the OE adapter and I'm having the same issue.

Having the same problem with Xbox One XO Four. Seem strange as there's no problem with the sound that come out from the TV... And USB can solve the problem a little bit... If it can really be solved by turning off force feedback, look like the gamepad can't handle the sounds at the same time than the force feedback... (not enough bandwidth or not enough power).

I, too am in this group with the Turtle Beach headset. It only happens when braking or slowing down (off-road). I confirmed it was only Project Cars when I changed to a brand new controller (literally not opened) and switched games and could not repeat the issue. It really kills the feel of the game to not have that sound plus I like to play with the headset so I won't disturb others.

While braking, I lose all game sound and voice chat. This is using the official xbox headset with adapter.

Same here the only problem that my friends and I have with this game is the sound cutting out while braking or going off track, it works fine from the TV volume but not with headsets. Although it is pretty funny trying to have a conversation while racing "hang on I have to take these two corners, OK now talk, wait one more corner..." Please fix this soon I have no other complaints about this game just the sound

This was happening to me as well, but I'm using Microsoft's own Stereo Headset. Chokapic's suggestion did work for me.
