I can only just beat the ai in career mode but like half a second and that when i'm really trying and take risks. But now I'm wondering is using %70 ai difficulty noob? even with %70 i find it really intense and hard.

I might suggest to tone it down until you are enough confident to take it to the next level, there's no shame on that. In fact, it will only make you learn faster. Ais on this game are unforgiving if you don't know overtaking techniques. The lower doesn't make them necessarily easier, they only make mistakes often.

I would say 60% are more than amateurs.
I.E.: My 6 year old son would beat the AI at 40 just sometimes. At 30 he's comfortable (with aids!)

I don't even use the aids. I live realism

Like JonZ said, just set the AI to a level YOU feel comfortable with and where they're on about the same level in terms of laptimes and don't care about wether other people can beat a 100% AI with no problem.

This is not to brag, but in career mode I beat the A.I. with 10 seconds difference on 100%. But if you have trouble playing at 70% just tone it down a litlle.

I would suggest adjusting the AI to a level where you're enjoying the racing. Whatever that number might be.

Don't worry about what others have it set to, just find your level and enjoy the racing. That's what this game is all about.

I still play at 60% but with all assists set to Real so you are better than me. :)

I do recommend that you play at the pace you are comfortable with. Fun is what matters at the end, not the AI percentage sliders.

Yeah I play at 70 too :) I only really know a few people playing this game that have the ability to be competitive at the higher levels.

Find the level your happy with :)
