Hi,

For PS4, which Wheel will be better for you, the T300RS or the T300 GTE ? The T300 GTE looks like more real than the T300 RS but I am afraid it will be difficult to handle on a PS4 since buttons mapping is not native with the console.

What is our opinion about it and which one would you take ?

Having had both i would recommend The GTE due to better button layout and easier to reach them while gripping the wheel.

Ok thanks ! And It isn't to much complicated to navigate with these buttons. Fo example, on the bottom right, there is a switch for different positions, is it usable in PS4 Menu ?

The switch does 3 things.switch up for options, switch down for ps share and press the switch in to return to ps4home screen.

After a day you won't have to think which button is which on GTE and looks better than rs

Ok thanks, I was afraid the handling could be more complicated on a PS4... I hope the switch button is not too fragile since a switch can have more trouble than a button.

I think it is plastic cos it always feels warm. But it really is very functional and it does not really matter what it is made from. (I love my T300 GTE :) )

I've the GTE and the only criticism I have is that Thrustmaster should have also labelled the button with the PS button icons.

Having the switch over the actual options, psn & share buttons isn't really ideal either as it's a bit clunky

I have a T300RS and also already owned the GTE rim (for my T500).

I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the T300RS for use with the PS4... Sure, the GTE layout is slightly better and it has nicer chunkier buttons, but the Playstation button layout on the RS rim is more important.

You can find the mapping table for which button does what on the GTE rim here:

T300 GTE with TM Leather 28 GT Wheel Add-On here: not cheap, but great! :)
Button layout isn't a problem, imho.

Thanks for this mapping, very useful. The only thing I didn't like in the GTE is the manetino switch, even if the look of GTE is better for me than the RS (however, my wife finds the RS more beautiful lol)

I got some of these... Search for "Thrustmaster Ferrari GTE F458 Wheel Vinyl Panel Decals" on ebay.

I read that this wheel has some problems with Dpad and "infinite calibration" and that some buttons are not reliable especially on the GTE version. Are experiencing these issues ?
