Wait for tyres to warm up, cold tyres are a nightmare to handle. Take it easy for 3-4 laps then give it the beans

Im pretty sure this is not my issue with cold tyres, i know the gimmick. There are few cars completely oustanding with driving model by default ex. BAC Mono, they doesn't have a grip as others have, its one big drift and its annoying to compete for podium in career mode. No rant just my thoughts/experience so far.

The Mono? Really? This is my most favorite car to drive, because you can just flip it trough nearly every corner and it never catches me off guard - when I spin or crash, I know exactly why.

But I really get you on the R8 side - this one drives like a boat and has a cornering behaviour that I would've expected from a 2,5 ton Bentley Flying Spur, but not from an Audi R8.

So this car has 7 gears. Where can you use the 7th gear? I tried LeMans long straight, only 6 gears are effective.
Must be nice to buy this car in real life only to find out that 7th gear is useless :D

You'll find many cars of its type have a high 'motorway' gear for fuel consumption purposes. So you'd not find it useless, unless you're on a free fuel gig somewhere.

Oh so this Audi R8 V10 Plus is not a racing car at all?

No no :D
I was just wondering...I really don't know much about cars and racing....I just would like to use all gears effectively, no matter what car it is :p

It's a road car with a typical road car suspension and gear ratios.
It will kill you if you try to drive it like a GT3 car.

I'm being light-hearted but I've answered your question. I have a 458 Ferrari and 8th is an overdrive for the motorway, you'd never use it for proper track driving. You would hit 212 mph if you could max it out in 7th.
