Hi all,

Just downloaded the game and went out for a spins... literally!

I took the Maclaren P1, and the handling just felt so unrealistic. Going around a slight corner at 35 and it just spins with no throttle and forget putting the throttle down on the straight, you'll be straight in to the barriers.

I know this game is meant to be challenging, but the difficulty is just a little unrealistic to my experience. I've owned an Aston Martin Vantage and a Porsche 911 Turbo and both these cars could have out performed the P1 based on how the game suggests it handles.

Anyone else have an opinion on this?

Wait for the tyres to get warm. Cold tyres are a nightmare

Yes thats exactly it. Took me a while to figure that out, the car is so much better on lap 3. Take it easy on the throttle. Change the hud display so you can see the tyre / brake temperature (dpad left).

I didn't know you change the hud display to show that. Cheers for the info!

Yes fhere are i think 3 "pages" or screens for the HUD. Same for the MOTEC displYs on the GT cars with MOTEC. Good live information is a click away if you mapped the buttons correctly.

Absolutely... gotta get the tires warm... plus, with higher HP cars, you've really gotta feather the throttle out of the corners otherwise you'll spin the tires & lose the back end of the car.

Yes, I have an opinion, and that opinion is, I've got no idea what you are doing with the P1!!!

Just took it out for 10 laps on Donington, and that thing sticks to the road like **** to a blanket, it's got a ton of grip in game.
