I've just ordered a new wheel but am after help as to where I can find a decent rig to sit it on?
I sit a fair way back from the screen so I don't have a desk to secure it too.
I thought I found what I needed in the way of the wheelstand pro but can't for the life of me find anywhere that has any in stock that supports my wheel, which is the thrustmaster t80.

And help would be much apreciated or if you can suggest a cheap alternative .

Are you in the UK? The UK distributor just got more in this morning! ;) http://wheelstandpro.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&filter_name=t80&product_id=55 I've just ordered a Wheel Stand Pro from them today.

I bought a wheelstand pro v2, it works well and I would recommend it- however make sure the seat you are using is suitable. I was sitting on my couch and it became very uncomfortable, especially the lower back- sitting up straight 'driving' is not the same as watching tv...
In the end I sold the wheelstand and bought a playseat challenge- it's awesome I think, different league in terms of comfort, a great driving position, looks cool and it packs away nicely

I sit on a lazyboy recliner armchair & built a custom stand that pulls up to my chair perfectly. Used 1/2" plywood & 2x4's. Very happy with it & likely cost less then buying a rig. Plus i can easily change or modify it to suit my needs, which ive already done to decrease fatigue during long stints behind the wheel.

Also if possible it is advisable to sit as close to the screen as you can.
