I have an issue where every single time I select the option "return to pits" the tune on the car is completely reset. This is a pretty game-braking issue.

Same problem here. Playing career on cart 125cc and driving invitional race. Car setup reset when I go back to pits.

Seems to happen when driving invitional races in career mode. When returning pits at practise or qualify session game changes all car settings same as car what you are driving in your career path. In 125cc when I was driving caterham invitional races it throws 125cc carts force feedback setting to caterham. And now its throwing superkarts settings to ford focus. Very annoying bug. Hope its fixed soon.

Same problem. If I start a session and make changes to setup while in the pitbox then return to pitbox after a time on track all of the settings revert back to the generic base settings that I applied to that car on all tracks when doing solo races. The save button for tuning setup in the pitbox doesn't seem to be doing anything. Also on a similar note, my pit strategies keeping going all bonkers. The names of saved settings get all corrupted. Something like "default" might read "xxxxxx7x6xxx5" at the next race.

Just started a carreer GT3 and losing all the setting. I save it but i and went back into tuning to see if what i changed was still there. Yes aslong i stay in the pits. One second on the track and its gone.
In the beginning i had a freeze or litlle les audioquality. But few days later the list is getting toooo long. No matter were i am in the game carreer solo practice garage online, everywhere its really fullll of bugs faults.
I really like this game, this could be the best racinggame i ever played but at the moment im fasinated and irritated and the same time.

One small tip I can give is to tune the car outside of career. Save your base tune that you develop to all the circuits, or at least the circuits on the career calendar for that car. When your tune resets it will at least reset to your base tune that you have saved in your My Garage.

This issue really needs a BIG looking at. Last night I had it go from bad to worse. Initially the cars would just revert to a default setup when using "return to pit box" so I always just restart session till I get the tuning where I want it. Last night though when trying to tune one of the classic road cars I restarted session and when I left the pits the car was like some sort insane drag strip monster on NOS. By the time I was 100 yards from the pit exit I was at max revs in 4th gear (4 speed car) and the engine was SCREAMING for mercy. (Gears weren't just set low, I was FLYING) The tires were all over the road and the car was completely uncontrollable. I restarted session and went into tuning settings and not only were the changes I made gone and replaced with some really weird ones but the max limits on some of the settings were changed. Things like suspension stiffness and tire pressures were set to values that aren't even usually within the select-able range for that car. I can't even begin to explain how it could have happened, I hit Y to reset everything and it all went back to normal and I was able to re tune to my liking. Besides the fact that something is hard broken my bigger fear is that ppl will find a way to do something like this intentionally and we're gonna start seeing escorts getting better times on the leader boards than Formula A cars and MP lobbies will become hacker playgrounds.

Unfortunately, even when I do this, the settings in the event STILL change.. I'm pretty sure I didn't have these problems in the regular career mode.. but definitely have been having tons of issues with this in the invitational events. Very painful!

I've seen this a lot too and it seems to be getting progressively worse (I've even taken pictures). I've had it happen numerous times for Time Trial and Free Practice. Just today for example, I loaded my C-Coupe DTM tune for Dubai International and went to free practice. The car is slamming into the ground so I back out the the garage summary screen and my bump stops are 8mm and 5mm (instead of 23/20 LOL).

Would be nice to hear something from the devs which released this game from early access... straight into alpha. Too bad it's a major PITA to get a refund on steam.

im afraid this does not happen for me i cant carry any tunes from practice or multiplayer into the career the ONLY settings that are getting saved is the FFB for the car

Yep i have this issue as well. Ended up abandoning ( skipping through) the bmw pro car championship a zolder was ruining my patience, tune car, leave pit box, car gets ruined straight away, return to pit, tune car, get out on track, forgot to change a minor thing, return to pit, tune car, leave box, car gets ruined. As mentioned its only on invitational events but can be quite frustrating. Hopefully gets fixed soon. started doing it again at imola in the bmw 320 group 5 invitational

This issue is killing the game for me:

Last night, I finished up the Clio cup in career and accepted a 125 kart invitational. I have a wicked set-up for these (courtesy of a friend) and was really looking forward to using it again.

Started race 1, all tune and FFB settings reset to default.
Went to home screen, into my garage, and selected the 125 kart. It still says the great set-up I like is on the car.

Back into career mode, and the settings were default.

I figured I may as well enter it all again, and did race one, and loved it.

Then I checked the tune for the beginning of race 2, and the settings had reset to default!?!!

So I turned the game off, and enjoyed a bug free relaxing night on Farm Simulator 2015 (I know, I know.....)

Does anyone know - without speculating - if this is going to be fixed?

Yes same here. Got around the setup issues so far in my Clio cup career, but now I'm doing invitationals the setups will not load even when you have made them in free practice mode and they are saved and present in my garage.
When you get to the invitational they will not load and are just random. However I have had them load some times but only once or twice. I have been doing practice, quali, and race. Have done a McLaren F1, cart and BMW m1 procar invitational and out of that a setup loaded 2 times. I've reached the end of my teather now and will wait for a patch I think. It's so god damn frustrating having to photograph all your setup and then waste half of the quali session resetting the car!!!

This has started to happen on my career now, gt4 ginetta at sakitto international i believe, resets every time, i only want to make small changes, but i have noticed if i restart the session the changes are saved

Yes, I've been having the same issue in career with GT4. Using the Vantage and everytime I go into the pit to change my setup everything is back to default. I would save my setup and pit stop strategy just to come back in a few races later and it's all back to default. Not even sure what would happen if I just use the pit strategy rather than return to pit box. I don't trust what it will load just for the pit stop so I rather go into the box and make sure I adjust the tune to my liking. Really frustrating when you have to do this over and over again.

Where are the Devs on this?

This is super heard to stay competitive when your tunes are not staying the same or your forced to stick with a base tune because your tune wont save. I love the game but not sure i can continue playing till this is fixed.

^^^ good. Hopefully a fix comes soon. I'm about you have to save every tune for every track in every car on an exel spreadsheet just to keep my sanity

I just got my game few days now. I also seem to have this problem in carreer mode. Doing practice and trying to make my setup little better but keep losing my changes.
I did see workaround note that saying doing my setup in single player practice section and saving it to the needed track.
So then i just skip practice sessions in carreer and go straight to qualy and race.

Is this issue still present or im a missing a patch. I did read the patch 2.0 that is coming later but didnt see mention of it.

It is still an issue, hopefully gets fixed in patch 2.0. I've stopped playing career until it is fixed.

Another workaround is to restart the session instead of returning to the pits. Restarting the session doesn't reset the setup.

Even if a fix is issued in some patch, it is more than likely that it will not help anyone who is already experiencing this issue until/unless they delete their local/cloud save game and start completely over. I have a nasty suspicion this is related to save file corruption. I had this issue among a confluence of other things and eventually did reset my save file. This did correct the issue, but it was back within 72hours. I did notice this issue returned as soon as I created a second career profile. I don't know if that is a cause or unrelated, but I am unwilling to delete my save file again right now just to test this.

The workaround is to build your tune in free practice, then in main menu open My Garage and select the tune there, then open the career session. So long as you do not click Return To Pit Box, you are good to go.

Also, keep written notes of your tunes. It isn't very time consuming, it is a little tedious, but when everything is lost you at least have a very good place to start over from.

Yes thanks for the tip. I will start keeping my tunes written down. I only just started so deleting my saved game wouldnt hurt me. But i understand that if you been playing for weeks it would be a real pain in the ......
