Me personally? I'm a family man that travels a lot for work so I own only a 2005 Ford Focus....

Close, my wheels are the stock 15's...but I've had offers for the car and I'm sure it would end up with airbags and giant spinning wheels if I ever let it go.

I've had a few of the favourite hot hatches including:

Astra GSI
Ibiza Cupra (220bhp)
Mini Cooper S (235bhp)
Audi S3 (290bhp)
Clio 172 Cup (Stripped)
Clio 197 Cup

But now I drive a Navara pickup lol and this is where I currently get my fun from:

Factory 0-60 time is 2.7secs (but I have a few performance mods on it already)
201413201414

And then there's also this, 0-60 is not so good but will climb over most things:

How does your EVO compare to the ingame one?

I used to own a TTS, and would love to see it in te game. Now it's a CC that has nothing under it's hood. Great for motorways though :)

First car was one of these.. '99 GMC Suburband 2500 w/ 7.4L V8.. Mine was way nicer than this, it was slightly lifted, had aftermarket headlamps, it was my baby!! Sadly my pop drove it into the side of a canyon

So nowadays I drive one of these.. 2004 Chevrolet Suburban just like the photo
202027
My goal is to find old Burban like a Sixth or Seventh generation to beef up.. My pop did have a '98 Chevy Tahoe & an '86 Camaro both with Supercharged LS7's, both before my driving days, but right there.. those are my life goals for my next car, LS7 in a truck
Or find a classic Mini to run a larger sports bike engine in

Here is my baby! Its a 2010 Audi B8 S4 with a LOT of mods that all strive to get the best performance of the car. Bilstein coilovers (adjustable with the push of a button), sway bars, intake, exhaust, supercharger pulley, software, brembo brakes, the works.

Here is a video of the first test run after all the engine mods were installed. In the dry she goes from 0-60 in about 4 flat, 0-100 in about 8.5 and 0-120 in 12.5. Top speed is 193 mph (311 km/h) when she hits the revlimiter in 6th gear. There is a clip of that as well on my channel.

Here we go with the clip, I especially love the sound. Actually, Ill show you guys 2 clips :)

Very beautiful cars, Manek! And some very nice driving on willow as well! Could you compare the pCars Evo with your experience in the real thing? I can barely get it to wheel spin or get any kind of oversteer under power out of it, which seems to go against what I have heard, read and seen about the car.

Enjoy the 370! I was thinking about buying one for a long time, but then I went for the S4 because of AWD which is kind of important where I live.

Enjoy the 370! I was thinking about buying one for a long time, but then I went for the S4 because of AWD which is kind of important where I live.

The Evo and Willow was the first thing I did on pCars last night. Once I got my gamepad setup how I wanted it I put down very similar lap times in pCars as I do in real life. The Evo in pCars is the FQ400 though and in the US we only got the 300hp version, but I was close to FQ400 peak HP in my modded Evo GSR. FQ400 has much more turbo lag than my real life Evo which is probably realistic. Also the FQ400 in the game has very different gearing it seems than my GSR. Not sure if that's accurate to real life though.

It's hard for me to compare the handling in pCars to real life since I only have a gamepad and not a wheel at the moment, but pCars seems very prone to oversteer and does not handle the elevation changes very well like my Evo in real life.

The braking zones and cornering speeds are very accurate in the pCars Evo and big willow though.

Overall with a gamepad though I would have to say that the cars handling is not accurate.

Thanks for the comments and I should have the 370z prepped for the track shortly. Glad to be back in another RWD car!

Interesting comments, thank you! I have noticed that the evo in pCars is very tailhappy off throttle and on the brakes. I thought it might be a tad much for awd, even the evo awd. What is weird is that it absolutely refuses to do any kind of oversteer on throttle. I would have imagined that you could steer the evo with the throttle to a degree in slower corners. Obviously it will never be a rwd drift car, but I would have expected at least a little bit of potential for "fun" :)

Even my S4 can get the tail out on power in slower corners, and that is no evo in terms of the awd setup.

Anway, it looks and sounds great in pCars and as long as you dont go to far over the limit it feels good as well.

Saw that you had an S2000 as well, what a great car. For me still probably the best roadster ever made so far.

PS: Again nice video :) You do have some oversteer situations in the middle of the clip, that looked like you used the power in 3rd gear to get the tail out. That is exactly what I am missing from the evo in pCars.

Sweet! Willow Springs is a fantastic track. I do have a bit more of an attachment to Laguna Seca myself though. The corkscrew is amazing!

I just hope to bring my 67 Camaro back to life and in pro-touring trim someday so that I can run both of those courses. I'll try and snag some video of my beast running tonight and post it. I don't have any recent photos of my baby but this pic I found illustrated it's current style as of now.

Mechanically speaking I rebuilt my 350 small block, bored it .030 over and ran a high lift cam with 1.94" heads out 3" collector dynaflo headers through 3" flowmaster mufflers. I once had a 12-bolt chevy rear end with Detroit Locker posi-traction and 3.55 gears and a B&M turbo 350 tranny but both of those ended up shrapneling from "extreme-throttle-syndrome"!

I plan on aquiring this sometime in the next year as my grocery getter!

Yes, I find it to handle the same as you with lift throttle over steer and late braking. Not normal characteristics of an Evo unless you've tuned the suspension for serious rear bias. Even then it really only comes out in the rain or serious elevation changes. Oversteer on throttle is not common in that car in real life unless you're putting down big power and have a setup the car with rear bias. Of course I'm talking about if you're driving the car for grip/time attack. You can lift off the throttle and flick it into a corner while getting back on the throttle and get the tail out if you purposely want to do it.

S4 is a great car. Used to own an Audi TT (first gen) back in the day. Handled nothing like your S4 though lol. I would love the S4 Avant Wagon as a daily driver!

S2k was the most fun car I've owned. It can be enjoyed at 7/10ths on the street. The Evo could only be appreciated at 10/10ths so it made it rather boring to drive on the street. If it had another 100hp I probably would have enjoyed it more since the car could easily handle it. It was too good for it's own good I suppose :)

That Camaro is so sweet! I don't know much about the classics, but I know when I see something like that I can appreciate it! Beautiful!

I've heard great things about the ST focus and fiesta. Supposed to be great handling FWD cars. Many compare them to the GTi and that's saying a lot!

I've never made it to Laguna, but hope to one day. Most of the tracks around So-Cal are pretty beat up. Except Auto Club Speedway. Love that course!

I'll whore out one of my Auto Club vids too lol.
This was my first time at this track. In a later session I ended up with a 1:55.xx. I probably could have gotten down to a 1:53.xx If I ran less aggressive aero and didn't have to run 3/4+ tank of gas the whole time. Anything below 3/4 tank and I would get fuel starvation coming onto the oval. Gas would slosh to one side and starve the fuel pump. You can hear the fuel starvation start around lap 4. I'm glad pCars doesn't model this lol.

Thank you sir! That is how she "has looked" but unfortunately due to years of daily driver usage, her age and simply not having the time or proper resources to commit (hey, kids cost MONEY) to keeping her on the road and aging paint she has fallen into general disrepair! :(

Here is "The Beast" that I got rid of late last year (RIP). 08 E63 AMG with pano roof (second AMG I've owned). She was incredibly mean, and only race I've lost was to a 911 turbo. I added the rim, lowered it a little, and upgraded the exhaust (also had a JL Audio sounds system with custom box for 2x10w7s). Easily the favorite car I've ever owned, but once the warranty expired, I had to get rid of it, despite that fact that I bought it new and it was completely paid off. Everytime I took it to the shop (which was frequently), was out at least $1.5k, and in some cases I had scares that could have cost me $10K+. I didn't want to risk it, so I downsized to the BMW X1 (a 4 cylinder no less!). The speedometer shot occurred during a road trip in Montana.

Wow, I had a 2jz-gte swapped IS300 with a 6speed v160. Took it to texas every year. Ill post pics if you want. Sold it and now have a turbo 911.

http://i61.tinypic.com/2pqjfyd.jpg

EDIT: before people tell me its not a turbo 911...

http://i57.tinypic.com/nz377b.jpg

It has since been professionally welded and mounted so dont mind the ghetto rigging on my first test run out of the garage after installing the system.

SEAT Leon Cupra 280 DSG

Or a more fun way to look at it here doing a comparison lap against our Civic Type R (FN2) at Pembrey. Hot hatches have got a lot quicker in the last 8 years. I'd love to see Pembrey in pCARS.

I've owned all sorts of cars and most of them are on my YouTube channel at one track day or another. pCARS feels close enough to the real thing to me, I just hope they continue to fix the bugs.

Stu In Blackpool Whats the difference between the M6 and the 635? They look similar but I don't know anything about the two models..

An M6 is on paper leagues above a 635D. But in day to day driving the torque and torque delievery of the diesel makes it very easy to drive fast, the M6 has very little torque and needs to be over 5k to really get going.

635d has a 3.0L straight 6 diesel, twin turbo, 286bhp and 428ft-lbs of torque
M6 has a 5.0L V10 naturally aspirated, 507bhp and 383ft-lbs torque.

His 635D would have been remapped (I had a 335d before my GTR and that had a DPF Delete and was around the same horsepower but less weight :P), but torque is fairly limited on the gearbox on the 635d

Oh shes fast :D and pretty planted aswell, would of had more torque out of the engine, but it was getting to the point of it just shredding tyres and struggling to put the power to the ground as it is a FF car. Shes a fun trackday and daily driver :D

Wasn't an M6 , with a few ticks on the options list about 95,000 ? A 635d with a few toys can't be much shy of 60,000 ? I was always under the impression that 6 series were quite big money?

Ok, Its not as small as a gap as it seems, a 640d compared to a M6 (F12) isn't that much anyway in price difference, Obviously no one pays 95k+ for a F12 M6 as you can get 20k knocked off straight away!!

An E63 M6 was around 82k new, a 635D was 62k, there would of been more to spend on options on the 635D than the M6 too as it would have less standard equipment, but thats built into the price really.

Anyhow, the difference is still quite a bit but not 40k. Used prices, thats a different story.

P.S. 6 Series are big money on paper, but no one pays full price for one because you can get a minimum of 10k knocked off a 6 series straight away. I was going to buy a fully loaded M235i last year, I got around 5/6k knocked off that, and it was only 35k.

I was actually disappointed there wasn't a swift sport cup car in the game. They are an underrated car, under powered yes but they handle like they are on rails.

What do you think of this then?

Just found these images of my old E46 330ci Autograph, with the usual Autograph mods and upgrades to body, suspension, exhaust etc.
Loved this car. A real flying machine. Made the most gorgeous exhaust note in tunnels.
My current E92 335d is still plenty quick, but I do miss that soundtrack from the back.
