In Edit Setup?

Automatically equips the correct tire for the current weather.

It also takes into account the upcoming weather. Depending on the situation you can end up starting with Intermediate or Wet tires to be ready for the rain.

Hmm.. it does? thats good. But still hope for a proper weather forecast for this game, kind of like the F1 series by Codemasters where it stand predicted weather for that session. Like it is sun att the start, but the weather forecast still say rain since its expected rain later, and alsto stands like 78% chance off rain...

So if you dont select auto tyres and you go from a dry quali to a wet race you will be on the wrong tyres? Why can you not have the option of tweaking the car before a race? Seems like a huge oversight.

you have the option at the beginning in SP to change your setup, you just have to equip rain tires then

In open wheelers you'll see the grooved tyres (or for tin tops in external view), otherwise you'll definitely feel the difference...
