Hello

Would it be possible to have a colorblind mode? It's hard for me to differentiate red to green especially on dark road. Like if you change to blue the arrows on the roa that would be great.

I'm not colorblind but this should be added.

+1

i only have one eye and it's colorblind for some colors. i don't have a problem with pcars but have with other games and have often wished there was a colorblind palette/color swap feature.

Can you not set this through ps4 accessibility options? Not sure from memory if it's specifically colour blind mode like Destiny has, but there definitely is some options for colours.

I'll have a look in the accessibility option, thanks. White arrow should be better than blue I guess.

So where can I suggest this to the dev and see if they are interested by this feature request?

I definitely do support this as well... Not color blind, but also having just one eye functional (and not in it's best shape) gives me "added perspective" on this issue ;)

Any news on this?

Regarding the ps4 built-in function: i checked and it just says "invert colors." not sure if it only inverts the system menu text colors, for use with a dark wallpaper, or if it inverts game colors. either way, it won't be a colorblind mode

I didn't see anything about this in the new patch.

Ah thanks, couldn't fin the right the section. So now that this topic has attention any idea when that may or may not be implemented in the game?

Making the game more accessible could be only a good thing.
On pc it's possible to daltonize using injected post-processing:

Shader used looks like this, add gui toggle to that and bam, colorblind mode implemented?

Hi, I am red–green colorblind as well and a beginner who really depends on the racing line. Inverting the colors in PS4's accessibility options does not solve the problem. I would really love to have this as a future feature. I am about to return the game because the game is not playable for me.

8% of European males are color blind. Should be a no-brainer to add the feature and increase the target audience for the game with nearly no efforts :-)

Funnily enough, this could also be resolved by enabling the post processing filter choice. It won't be perfect, but on the PC there are many filters that can dramatically change the image colour pallet, some of which may potentially reduce the issues for those with these types of issues.

I hope SMS look into enable filters, they could add an additional filters as time goes on that can also assist other gamers with vision problems.

I've always wondered about this. I too am red green colourblind but in games that do have it as an option, doesn't seem to make much of a difference.

So what actually changes? The HUD, or the whole graphics itself?

I have a similar problem with the red time checks. As in, if I am behind in the lap/ sector/ behind another driver, I cant really make out the red split times. Might be better if you could make the HUD boxes bigger, as at their current size, I can only see them if I am up and the times are in the luminous green.

On PC BTW.
