Hey, just bought the 458 spider wheel for this game. Works great on forza, When I started playing project cars the pedals and steering did not register (all other buttons work fine) Tried adjusting in the controls, doesn't register there either. Tried forza again and it works fine. Anyone else have this problem?

Have you gone to the settings and selected the right wheel in the controller options?

Did it register steering and pedal movement when you was calibrating it in the settings?

Yep, it selected the correct wheel automatically. It even shows my wheel. And no, it did not register during calibration.

Quit the game fully, do a hard reboot on the xbox one (hold the power button on the box for 10 seconds).
Wait for it to reboot to the home screen.
Plug in wheel. (not sure if should calibrate at this point due to no FFB)
Start game
Options then do the wheel calibration bit, turn all the way to left/right then 90 degrees and press A.
Should work now?

Hi

Try this trick from the Thrustmaster site, which is to reset the USB port on the Xbox One. I tried it and I didnt have issues with the wheel....

ENGLISH:
Completely resetting the Xbox One console’s USB ports
(in order to fix issues such as failed self-calibration, wheel not recognized,
some missing Force Feedback effects, conflict with the gamepad, etc.)
* The USB ports on the Xbox One are always On (even when the console is Off)
* To completely reset the console’s USB ports:
- Power off the console.
- Disconnect the power cable from the back of the console
(the LED on the console’s power supply turns ORANGE).
- Leave the wheel connected to the console.
- Reconnect the power cable to the back of the console
(the LED on the console’s power supply turns WHITE).
- Power the console back on using the XBOX button located on the console
(do not use the XBOX button on the gamepad controller).
- Start the game using the wheel, without ever powering on the gamepad controller.

Hope this helps...

My wheel will not turn. All the buttons work though. All methods do not work on fixing it. Is my wheel broken?

(edit)

Does NOT work on Project Cars or Forza 5.
