So.....im racing in the old Escorts and experiencing some weird physics. Im along side another car it slightly nudges me and even at low speed it seems to turn me on my side or even roll my car at times? Surely this isnt right? Anyone else experienced this?

Known issue, will be fixed in an upcoming patch.

Do you use a controller or a wheel ? I drive with a Thrustmaster TX wheel and don't experience this at all.

I have lost count of the number of races I've had to restart because of this a slight bang on the side from the AI and yes the old escort can not only flip or roll it but can go full airborne

yes have experianced this as well, a friend of mine has had more trouble than me, we both in career with xbox and game pad, most cars i drove whdn in contact with another car zometimes very slightly want to ride up over the other, ive been driving xown the road on 2 wheels after being past by another player online private lobby. It was quite imprezsive but the other player wasnt even aware he hit me and he uses the veiw from behind the car. Also when you do flip a car it comes to a stop immediatly, faster than you could stop with brakes fulllly on. Me personaly im not happy witht he physics of the game, compared to forza it comes up short im many cases, the crashes look like they are from an older console in my opinion. As for the cars the way i like to describe them is like this, they are like a woman, you get a good one and they are enjoyable, fun and great to play with, you get a bad one and you just want to get rid of it to put it mildly.
There are some great driveing cars, please lets have some more, no more like the poor handli g ones please....whats with all the LMP cars?....

exact same issue I experienced in career mode with this car. Seems like it is acting like an open wheel car that is tangling with another open wheeler.

Glad to hear a patch is coming as this is a fun car to drive.

Controller on XONE.
Thx

I also drive using the same wheel, and unfortunately experience this during the majority of times I race in this series.

I thought it looked alright! With forest arches the mk1 can get the wind under them, causing buffering and unstability. But that crash should have had the impact energy absorbed more by the body work to delay and reduce the main impact energy that would go into the axles or sissy bars then the car getting bashed out to the side.
Getting one into tripod mode then hitting a kerb is enough to roll it when using comp tyres with poorly adjusted dampers! In my Escort races they hit me HARD I expect to go onto my roof if they haven't got the brakes to slow down in time. The game physics is ok its the lack of energy absorption on impact that makes the car jostle if sandwiched then pop over off its wheels. Fibre glass shells and composites in general are different depending on the reinforcement of the areas. Just watch that smart car crash on Fif gear init!

I flipped a car at speed and it did stop a bit ubruptly, there was plenty of runoff area that could have made it look better. Does anyone know if thats in the suggestion thread to get sorted? Having the car looking like its stuck in a tree is acceptable imo there are track limits after all!
