For Christmas i got Thrustmaster 80 racing wheel to use for drive club. Shorty after a few days playing a problem occured that i couldn't fix. My Racing wheel would just disconnect in the middle of using without warning. Everything else works in the USB spots so it's not that. I thought it was a faulty wire so i sent back the wheel and got a new but the same problem is now occuring. It does this both on Driveclub and Project cars. If anyone could help i would be very thankful.

Had a similar issue with my T100 last night. Had to turn game off, unplug T100, then reboot game and reconnect. Strange. I'm assuming a bug?

Same here. It's annoying , but not as bad as when the steering locks up. That's race ending.

Having a similar issue with the Logitech G29. Not sure if it's the wheel or PS4. Also, can't tell if it's a hardware or software problem.

almost want to say, if it does it in both games you are trying, seems to be a Sony PS4/ console software issue maybe after the last system update...??? maybe???

posted the same at a G29 with similar issues:
it seems/ honestly sounds like a PS4 system problem, have you pushed the new update on there? i would otherwise try to rebuild database and etc.

i would try the above, and if that doesn't work I would still opt to reinstall, or if someone has other actions to go with, please post them. last step if all fails, would be install Driveclub and test T80? do you have Driveclub? (and finally i would completely reinstall/ hard reset PS4, making sure you backup saves and files and etc)

Just out of curiosity what firmware are your PS4s on because 2.57 was deployed a couple of weeks ago and its not a mandatory update.
If you have not updated yet could be the culprit perhaps.

?? Are you using a USB hub?

I had a powered HUB, and had Constant Wheel Disconnects.
Finally traced it to the Powered HUB..

Got a New - non-powered Hub.. Solved my Disconnect issues.
