Just jumped in the above car and it seems gear 3 and 4 are basicly the same ratio lol??

Not changed any setup settings at all.

Also in general, using manual gears auto clutch. On the startline why is the car in nutral so when you pull away you need to select first? Surly it would be better like real life if the car was in first gear and the up shift button releases the clutch in this instance??

Ahh sweet. Any comments or ideas on start line launch setup?

Same issue here. So far I had this problem with the Mitsubishi Evo X (1st and 2nd gear), SMS Superkart 250cc (3rd and 4th gear) and also the Caterham Seveb Classic (3rd and 4th gear).

I use (FFB) setups for all my cars.

EDIT 14-05: 4th gear went missing in the Audi R8.

Just feather the throttle and short shift off the line, it can spin off easily.

Yeah I get you. It just in real life you would be sitting in 1st with the clutch down ready to go. Not selecting 1st on the green light!

But its about your reaction time. Sit in neutral or use clutch and sit in first. Up to you. Your idea of shifting up to release cluch is basically engaging gear the same way.

I cannot drive this thing, i am competitive in almost any class at 80, but keeping this thing on the road is nearly impossible if you want decent speed.
