Hi all, got a simple request, idea.. could all "PS4" wheel users thrustmaster, fanatec...
share there wheel type and standard ffb settings, id like to keep in simple with only
DEFAULT FFB and TIRE FORCE ffb settings, ( even a pic of your rig!!! ... )

il start..
Thrustmaster T300rs
FFB - 50
TIRE FORCE - 85

having previously owned a fanatec gt2 and a g25 ( < my fav feel for any wheel )

i can say my ffb settings give a very similar feel to my old g25, quick, responsive, ffb not to strong but not to light, the perfect mix in my opinion

heres my rig..

Home built with the seat from a 2009 C-Class. The wheel is the TM 300 GTE, have the shifter and am waiting on the pro pedals to arrive.

So far I am still busy playing with all the FFB stuff.

T300RS and Wheelstand Pro

Rotation - 360
FFB - 80 or 85
Tire Force - 100 (but I want to try some other settings listed above. I thought 100 on FFB felt like I was wrestling a bear, but I like a little more than the default 75)

I felt the same until I dialed Tire Force down to 65.

Just got my Playseat Challenge in the mail yesterday. Mounted my T-80 and got to work. Did a 15 lap GT4 race at LeMans and was comfortable the whole time.

I built this purely for project cars coming out on ps4. I was prob the only person who was glad the game was delayed I had planed a few weekends work but put 200ish hours in to building and painting it.
All hand painted except the lettering and SM studios logos which are
FFB 100
Tyre 100
Master scale 40
Sop scale 40

T500 with 200 tire force and 100 ffb? I'm surprised that your arms haven't been ripped off yet. Either that or you're the Incredible Hulk.

Love the eyeball shift knob.

Not even close. I have tried nearly every adjustments found on different forums, but with those, there is almost none resistance/ffb. Last time I made adjustments to ffb, I started with those previously mentioned settings, then zeroed Fx/Fy/Fz and set the Mz to 200. Then started to increase the first three values, to get the right feel. But, (I'm afraid to say this) almost the best feeling is when Mz is 200 and the other ones are 0. At that setting I can feel quite easily oversteering and some bumps on the road (wheel gets light). I think, that the most of the settings found from the internet are meant for the T300, and I haven't found almost none for the T500 (+PS4). Actually, I haven't found any. Feels that I'm all alone with this slight issue, if I might say. Would be nice to test the T300, is it so much different.

I have the T300, which is supposedly weaker than the T500. I use close to stock wheel settings, but FFB at 100 and Tire Force at 90. Tire Force at 100 is a little too much, a little too stiff to make quick movements. I also suspect that having those set too high would cause the wheel to start clipping.

The roof trusses were perfect for fitting a mount for my T80. Timber and bolts from B&Q for 11
It bolts on with wing-nuts so it can be taken down.
I need a chair with a back on it but the stool was in the loft anyway...

:)

Great solution, but is there any reason why you mount the wheel so far away from the TV?

I was just thinking that... I was looking at the other setups and I do seem to have it set 1 truss to far back, I'll drill two holes tonight and try it closer.

UPDATE
I moved it forward as suggested and it's much better, thanks for the advice.

Rseat rs1 and let me tell you this is one he'll of a solid platform. Love it.
It's holding the g25 which I know doesn't work with project cars!
Just waiting a couple more weeks for the fanatec csw v2, css v1.5 as, csp v2 and bmw m3 Gt 2 rim. The f1 rim arrived today ;)
