Fired up project cars today and at the load screen I get a message syncing data for project cars, then a popup saying we couldn't get your latest saved data. Now I'm stuck in an endless loop unable to play. Nothing changed since playing yesterday, internet is working fine so what's up? Anyone else having issues?

Same problem. I don't know if the x1 update caused this

It is most likely an Xbox Live issue, if it is trying to pull the data from the cloud storage.

There are service issues being reported on their website: https://support.xbox.com/en-HK/xbox-live-status

I think I'm getting the same issue guys. However, when I sign into another account it works so it's clearly a cloud problem. I just wish they would hurry up and fix it.

U might want to.. cloud data is corrupt. U have to delete your saved data from the cloud. (Go to manage game saved data delete entire data not just on Xbox. Delete local saved data too. Just in case. I had this problem yesterday.. game works again just have to restart it all again

This is a known issue that is caused by the saved file growing too big. The main culprit seems to be that replays are saved as part of the game save and this causes it to exceed the allowed size in the cloud. I had the same happen to me and had to restart from scratch. Make sure you remove replays or just keep one or two at all times so that this file does not grow that big. My saved file was 286 MB when I couldn't download or synch and after removing the replays it was down to less than 30 MB. Not sure if this will be fixed soon as it has been an issue for both PC and xbox since release.
