So far in the game I've raced in Formula Gulf and the minor FOrmulas C/B. But on full fuel I seem to beable to match if not better my times on very low fuel.

Any one else having any issue like this?

I have noticed this on Formula class and also the Clip Cup. Maybe I was just really in the zone but Yes, fuel loads do not seem to affect your lap times.

I'm glad its just not me haven't tried the formula A to see if its like it there but if it is its kind of a game changer for the worse

Yes, try the FA on full tanks, or even better, the Lotus 98T. 200L of fuel weight makes a good difference :) The Formula Gulf and C have pretty small tanks and you need to be already getting a good 98% out of the car to feel the difference of 10-20kg mass.

It obviously wont always translate to faster lap times. You yourself have to put the laptime in. Also not to mention your tires are wearing down also. So they seem to cancel each other out in some cars.

Wait until the DBR1 is finished for you guys to try in this regard. 856kg car with a 190L tank hung way out past the rear axle. Weight distribution changes something like 7% over the course of a fuel load. It's like two different cars from beginning to end.

BMW 320 Turbo has a pretty big shift with reducing fuel load too, but the tires are so wide and grippy that they sorta make up for it.
