Peoples.....listen up, if you want THE PERFECT driver stand, for only $30, you need to get to HOME DEPOT immediately. I was hell bent on finding something to replace my folding snack table, and I came across this last night.

http://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGID-Fl...9934/100618242

You can rotate the table top part of it, so it goes in the same direction as the legs, and the T80 (in my case) locks perfectly onto the top. Snug and secure.

The pedals go underneath, and the best part is, the middle pole comes down and presses down onto the pedals and keeps them in place. The bar in the middle doesn't affect your feet either, since on is on one side, and the other is on the other.

I have the entire stand pressed flush up to my tv stand, and my recliner behind it. It's unbelievably perfect! I had to share this find with everyone else.

I'll post pictures when I get home today to further clarify.

Enjoy!

how stable is that with the TX attached?

Near perfect.

The base is pretty heavy, so it's not going anywhere. The only slight give is in the table top part, but it's so minimal you wouldn't even notice it; and truthfully, even a smidgen of a move only helps to create a more realistic driving feel. lol

Can someone with a clutch verify if it can be set up to allow heel-toe?

Not sure what that means. ...but I can tell you, that if you need to move your feet laterally a lot, you will prob have to cut that metal pole off. As of now, it sits between the two pedals (the gas and brake), but it you throw a clutch in the mix, you'll have to snip it off.

That looks great. I may have to pick one up. I have been using this thing that I built several years ago. It's very big though. I have a sub mounted in the engine area so it rumbles at my feet.213504213505

I had been using one of those for many years with my DFGT - then even added to it for the T300 before I got my Wheel Stand Pro. The RIGID worked pretty well. the problem with 3 pedal sets is getting the bar between the brake and clutch pedal.. that is why i finally blew the extra money when I knew I was getting T3PA-Pros.

For the Rigid stand to work very well, the height bar is a bit long and can be cut shorter.. also on the table top that flips back and forth.. I unbolted it and added extra washers and rubber O-rings then tighten it back down so it was stiff.
