I'll hope sms will look at the option to make more failures .

Because if you do a endurance race almost nothing happens in a 24 hrs cycle!
Look at Le Mans for real , there are cars stopping the race with failures and its Always busy in the pits.

It would be nice if you look to it .
Maybe a slide bars where you can put it in.
For realism it would be good if 20-25% d.n.f.

I do it now with tyre wear at 3.
Then you have cars who drive slow on the track and the ai using much more pit stops.

I was in a 6 lap race and my engine stopped near the end, it sucked massive balls. Don't think I'd like that happening in a long race where you have no real control of whether you'll get a failure. However, I can see why some would appreciate a percentage slider to adjust the chance of it happening to add authenticity.

Its because in long races nothing happens and thats not realism.
Look at real 24 hour races.
There happens a lot.

Mmmmmm the failures might be linked to the abuse your giving it. Example, I ragged the ass off a Radical for over 20 laps to test heat soak, stopped for a cupper, went back to find the thing wouldn't go into gear, OMG has the game got a bug? Not this time, I assumed it was a overheated clutch or an intermittent electrical fault, I sat there reving the engine aggressively and after some time it went in gear as if nothing has happend. Wow what a game.
