I was looking at purchasing this, I need something I can fold up and put away with ease.

Does anyone have this or something like it? Is it worth forking out over $200? I had an old desk given to me awhile ago that I used for the wheel but it fell apart (thanks ex gf) as I was moving it from my living room back into the spare room.

I have this. Prize was to me 99 €. It is pretty good and you can hide wires very easily. Weight of stand without wheel is 7 kg. What is wheel that you use? With my Thrustmaster T500 that stand weight is 24.5 kg but still it is very light.

Check this video so you can see how it makes wire hiding and how good it is designed:

For me Price and quality ratio is very good.

Yeah I was iffy on that wheel stand, I am glad I waited for a response from someone before I made that impulse purchase lol. $200 plus whatever it costs to get it across the border seems pretty steep to me, especially since its built specifically for the wheel I use, so If I ever want to go PC that thing is pretty much useless. Who knows how long it will take to get here too.

That vs a $67 dollar (damn exchange rate) work stand that I can use for other wheels & things in the future seems like a waaaaay better deal. The only annoying thing is I have to drive an hour to pick it up in store since they won't ship it for whatever reason.

The Next Level Racing Wheelstand is an option, too, and they have a distributor in Canada. It's more expensive though. link (https://www.pagnianamericas.com/store/index.php/simulators/wheelstand/pagnian-next-level-racing-wheel-stand-free-shipping-for-g27-g25-thrustmaster-t500-rs-fanatec-madcatz-wheels-thrustmaster.html)

I use it, and there's a link to mine in my signature. Probably the most stable of the fold-up/put in the closet stands.
