It has been few days and I am starting to hate this game. It is to complicated to configure steering for nice pleasure steering so I can go easy in drift in corners or get grip when rains (car is spinning on road like crazy, no f* way to end the race in one piece). I am not a noob, played hundred hours at NFS but cars in Project CARS behave like sh*t and there is no fun at all only frustration and growing anger :( I realize, there are freaks who wants to have possibly most difficulties in driving they can get so they can feel like in real car, but I want have just fun with my XBOX 360 wireless PC pad and even with all drive assist in game set ON I have got ZERO fun :(

So I figured, there will be rapidly growing number of people like me, who spent money on this title and what to have some fun without wasting hours on configuring their car what what eventually give them NOTHING or even worst. So can more experienced gamers in Project CARS create for people like me some complete configuration for easy drifting and on other hand good grip on wet? I want to push the brake and start to turn and get my rear into drift, now when I brake my car (all of them) cannot go into drift only rides straight and usually crash at barrier :(

What cars are you trying to drift with?

What cars are you trying to drift with?

All of them? Is it possible? It's only the settings so it should apply to all?

Several of the cars are good for drifting, its just a matter of setup

Beware that this is a simulator, not a drifting game. So if you want to go drifting (which you could), you have to choose your car correctly as you would in real life.
Then you have to set it up the best way possible (I know squat about setup so I'm not your guy for this) as per real life.

What you CAN'T do, is upgrade your car for better drifting as that's not the intention of this title. So in the end, that's a limit for drifting within pCARS.

I would use (personally) BMW 1M, pretty fun car and I can go ahead and drift with that w/stock settings, but there are plenty of nice drives in Project Cars! :)

Yeah, I can imagine but which one? Can you be more precise?

OK guys, because nobody has given me precise tip how to set the setting and I understand, different cars need to be set in different way, I made a short film from the film Aldo Zampatti's link. It is McLaren making sweeeeet 2 drifts. I wrote to the YT channel where this film came from but they did not answer yet, so maybe some of you could answer how to set McLaren and other setting in game, so I could make also such splendid drifts with this particular car??? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KvcB2AxFeBo

Your not getting answers because there isnt one.. there is no file or settings to upload for easy drifting.

As Aldo said, Project Cars is a simulator, not a drifting game. Just like in real life you couldnt get in that McLaren and effortlessly drift it around corners without countless hours or practice... likewise, you cant just get in any car in Project Cars and pull off fat power drifts either. This isnt NFS or Dirt3.. our cars are not programmed to simply drift around corners in control and pop back into place.. there is no steering, FFB or car setup that makes it just happen. this may not be the right game if thats what your looking for.. All the cars will drift the same as theyre real life counterparts.. but learning to do it wont come easy. it takes alot of time and practice.

Moved to Car Setup as it's not really a technical problem.
