This is my problem; a lot of times I play without sound. Because of that, I have problem with manual shifting and i dont have proper HUD indicator to remind me to shift. Maybe, this one is ok: http://pokit.org/get/img/d69ca9d53a1b5d531a434bb211764dcc.jpg

..but I cant have them on top of the screen in the middle and I cant have that gadget and virtual mirror on the screen in the same time. I need something like this:

..but that gadget with that red indicators for RPM/shifting gears in not that easy to see in the race. Is there any solution for my problem ? Just something that I can see with my peripheral vision.

I know what you mean NIN. I'm having a similar problem. Hopefully SMS will patch the game soon to allow us to scroll through the different types of HUD rev counter & save our preferred display on every camera view. I normally use the cockpit view but I'm forced into using bonnet view to have a better rev counter on the HUD. I prefer the circular rev counter over the others as I think it's easier to see.

I haven't even noticed seen that other HUD element since I do cockpit/helmet cams only, which don't have access to that one. Not only would I love there to be more options for rev counter/gear LED setup for HUD customization, but I'd love to be able to put them anywhere on the screen... not in just some specific slots. I got really accustomed to Assetto Corsa's "HUD app" method of doing HUDs, and this system feels archaic in comparison. If I had my druthers, I'd have a rev counter like this one for pCars: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TQRMLOj6Shw

I've never paid attention to the hUD Gear indicator. I use cockpit cam so I just use the rev counter if not used to the car, or the McLaren GT3 for example has LED lights on the wheel

^There is free app, HUD Dash: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.barz.hud_dash&hl=en

Its gr8, but sometimes game crashes because of "memory share" function. But its not on the screen so.. its not solution. I'm used to HUD customisation in assetto corsa to. And pCARS solution is a little bit out to date but even if I'm good with some gadgets on the screen, you can customize only one preset. Not all of them. Only that one with the mirror.

Great if your on PC rubbis if your on Xbox like me. Needs to be more like the Trackplugin for Rfactor 2, fully movable and scalable.
