Hi guys, i've released a new app for iphone and ipad for PCARS (also include other sims support OT here), only for PC users

Features:
- Tyres temp, wear (more to come)
- Gear,sped, RPM, shift indicator
- PIT, engine overheating, headlights, speed limit leds
- fuel, laps, time, delta time sector
- Customizable colors
- All element in the dash can be disable, you see on the screen only what you want (not moveable for now)

download the app here (https://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/simracedash/id992773567?mt=8)

this app needs a little server that must be started before pcars, you can download it here (http://www.acmedevelop.com/simracedash.php), in that page you will find all the instruction (enable Shared memory on the game for example)

a little video

Can you explain why additional software is needed? (Technical terms are fine, I'm a programmer as well.)

Looks very nice. Great work at that. Can't test it due the missing apple products ;).
It raises a Question is there an API for pcars? Sry i'm lazy atm and don't want to search myself :/.
But if i think i would be experimenting a bit with android apps.

Shnoo, there is as several WMD community members have built apps for reading data and presenting it in numerous different ways. It's even mentioned on the website: http://www.projectcarsgame.com/apps.html

Hi on iphone 4 the app must run fluid. 90% of the time is a problem related with the wifi, the data come not so fluid. You need a very good signal because
the server send a lot of data, and if pocket are dropped you can see a "freeze effect". Sometimes on old device there is a problem (a know issue with apple device), with auto negotiation on the wifi. Try to force
your wifi speed on a single wifi speed, (aka disable auto negotiation on your router ), and try again.

I do not think it's a problem of wifi sounds like a power problem . it's worse on iPad while it is more powerful than the iphone 4s I do not understand

Hi i've released a new version of the server, is less CPU intensive for the app, this will boos the performance. Download it here (http://www.acmedevelop.com/downloads/PcarsSimRaceDashServer.1.0.1.7z), uninstall the old
version of the server.

For the auto negotiation , search that voice on your Access point under wifi. But with this new version of the server will be more smooth for older device.

Thanks

Hi
I just tested and nothing changed there is a big lack of fps. This was not a server problem , it is the application that uses it even too much power on iPhone 4s and iPad retina even more on
