Did you also change the limited slip preload or left it default at 100N-m?

Glad it has helped you. They are tricky little buggers to set up.
I have lots of tunes on many cars but this Clio was among the most difficult to set up !!!

I havnt raced this car outside the UK tracks,

Should perform well because its a pretty stable tune.

Do you think this can be a good tune for playing in a PS4 Controller with assists on?

Found this set up works well up until Brands hatch, there i found it to be a little iffy and a bit stiff with the curbing. another issue i had was tire wear and heat. with this set up my front left kept overheating, had to drop down and ease off a little. may be my driving style more than anything that the set up did not work for me there. but everywhere else? yeah really good. :)

Depending on the track i run high pressures on the left of the car for the clio.

I think if the diffs set tight it keeps the tyres both warm. Low camber stops over heating imo!
I run the pressures for best grip, it can manage 3 laps of the ring if you put enough fuel in:rolleyes:

Thanks, you can really feel the grip. Made a few slight changes and got my fastest lap time of 1:17:1
@ the min on dod international (the clio career track) feeĺs great

Pleased the majority of people are enjoying this base tune..... maybe a few tweaks to your personal feel, may improve things even more.

It's worked a treat for me. No assists, professional on the PS4 with duel shock. It works well in the Clio Cup, I managed a 1st & 2nd place in the first rounds vs AI @ 80.

I think it's going to require a few tweaks at Snetterton 200. I keep loosing the backend under breaking at the end of the back straight. Still - it's a great foundation.

What a fun car to drive!

yeah i like the slow pokes like the clio and just did a few laps with this set up at donnington and the rear slips out from under you a tad under heavy breaking... but 95% or better of this tune is spot on and seems to be a good roundall tune or base to work from. thnx mate.

It seems much better than the standard tune but I have real assists on, I selected the middle difficulty rather that 'pro' like you, and i'm on a controller instead of a wheel. The only problem is that rear wants to overtake the front on the first section at Donnington, any suggestions keeping it a bit more stable for my setup? I notice you didn't change toe in but I don't like messing with that too much and I'm not sure that would even be the place to start? Cheers!

Great tune mate. Tried it at Oulton Park Int. and it done real great with no assist. Breaks locked up at Shell corner on first two laps [bit of driver error I think], but after that and a slight tweak to diff accel, it became a real blast to drive. Should do real good at the upcoming Community event at Oulton Park in a week or so.

Nice tune but after hotlapping Oulton Park int could only manage a 1.49, chased the top ghost and take the first corners as good but he moves away by 2 seconds at the end, I'm sure it's something to do with altering gears, I've tried all final drive settings but should be hitting 1.48s .

Is that really positive Camber on this tune!!! Would have thought you'd all go faster with more grip if you had some negative camber

Does anyone has a good setup for the Clio in Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya Club to share? The first turn is killing me, I either understeer a lot or have to go really slow.

That camber setting is negative right? Something in this game is broken if positive camber is helping

I'll test that out at some point. Have the Clio in career next.

I'm a Novice at tuning, but wouldn't you have lower pressures on front tyres compared to the rear? As it FWD, I'd assume that you need more at the back as they aren't doing anything while the fronts do everything

Be delicate with steering inputs, especially when it starts going downhill. It's not much of a problem once the tyres get heat in them.

I have no times to compare it to, only raced it once online, but the shorter Donington track, it's doing 1.18.0s and it feels great. But unless you can force the rear to step out on uphill turns, its very understeery. Turn 1 is a pain too.

But yeah, brilliant little car and set up. I'm on DS4 with assists set to real
