How can one say that when the game is missing soo many features which fanboys all blame on time and finances yet there is time and finance for this?

Total slap in the face if true.

Jesus... settle down. This stuff was probably already done and planned. They're just moving forward with it. The patch is new work. That's different.

people love DLC, it rekindles a game brings more excitement back into a game, DLC would have already been done before release for the first one, the second would be in the works now, seeing it takes over two weeks for a patch to be released to fix a game, DLC will obviously take just as long, to go through the certification as well.
This is a great learning experience for the consumer and developers, once being able to identify the turn around times for patches and DLC they can then plan the future out and update the websites and give the consumers a heads up with more accurate times.

Agree, but...
Not done prior to release, a lot of the cars marked for DLC were still heavily into production when pCARS was released.
One of those catch 22's really. Keep delaying the game and finish these cars in production? Or release the game now and set them up as DLC. A line has to be drawn somewhere in the content production overlap.
