I don't get it, where is the fun in driving like that. Ok he won the race but no skill or style.

I think the video has nothing to do with his driving skills or whatever, but to show that you could "win" the race in this particular track (the rails help A LOT) without pressing break a single time and going full throttle.

Now, for the point of the video... well...

No, he just want to defame project car physics very arcadey (no spins after a hit) , actually he turn on the assist and turn off damage.Read his description...

I think you guy's are missing the point of the video, he's saying Pcars isn't a sim and proves you can win by never using your brakes and just driving flat out on this track.

I think this was designed into the game from the beginning, so that depending on the settings/assists you could take it down from full sim to something say a little kid might be able to play. I think pCARS always set out to have layers of accessibility, so yeah, if you flick the invulnerability switch on a track with barriers along the sides and mash the throttle, it should behave like this. Why you would want to is another matter.

The only thing that video proves is that you can adjust so many settings that you can drive the game completely like you want to.

Wanna drive a full scale sim? Set everything to real.
Wanna drive a semi sim? Turn on the assists you need.
Wanna drive NFS style? Turn off damage and penalties and crash full throttle into your opponents.

PCARS is a game for everyone and this video shows it (in a very strange way).
