Not sure if I this has been asked already, I did a search but nothing came up.

Surely I'm not the only person who would love to try getting some of the cars around the karts tracks?

Any chance of a future patch to allow full choice of cars on Kart tracks?

I would love it too... especially since they can have wild reactions on certain bumps.

Back in the early days of Pcars development, you used to be able to put cars onto gokart tracks. To be honest it was a mess and not that enjoyable and the AI REALLY struggled with it.

The cars are just too big, fast and turning circle isnt good enough to get the cars around the corners. If I remember chesterfield was a pretty decent track for a really small mp race of 4 people in cars, but other than that it was just chaos not in the fun way.

So I understand why they eventually stopped it.

I wouldn't want to race on them just time trial or free practice on my own so no ai cars, I think the challenge of getting a full size car around a kart track sounds like fun :)

You can in free practice & in career mode but not in time trials, it would be fun if there was an option to drive karts on full size tracks in time trial & vice-versa, just imagine wrestling a 250cc superkart around the Nordschleife or a trying to get an Ariel Atom around Chesterfield as fast as you can!

Insane fun imo :D

Well, if you look at it from a realism point of view. There's not one real world kart track I've ever been to that allows full size cars on them. But ya, as Dorny said, in early Dev builds we could and honestly, even solo, not that enjoyable.

Really?
Which ones & How?

Or do you mean real world as opposed to in Pcars?

I believe he means he's aware of some Kart tracks IRL that allow full size cars on them.

That's cool. i didn't know we could do that in free. ive been in tt for a while and still haven't learned all the differences between game modes.

So even though the game is being sold under the premise of "No unlocks, do as you wish" that only applies when "they" say so?

It's do as you wish under motorsport rules. i think it's completely reasonable and i prefer it that way.

Horse Thief Mile. It's close as you'll get to a hybrid.

I took a 250cc superkart around the Nordschliefe just for fun, turned out to be a lot easier than I thought it would be, massive fun! :D

Most cars weren't suitable for kart tracks, but the Cat classic was actually brilliant on them, but yeah, could only be one car on there with no AI.

You can run cars on Road Americas kart track IRL, I've driving an Impala and Corvette on it
