What is your favorite car in PCars.. And why?

I have two, as of right now.

The Sauber Mercedes because of its old-school, yet high-tech characteristics and gnarly V8 sound! The BMW E30 M3 because of its agility and composure. The E30 M3 sounds incredible and just doesn't give up!

The Pagani Zonda has got to be the best sounding car I have ever heard in a video game. The Zonda in PCars sounds just like it does in real life and that is all I could ever ask for!

Right now, the Audi R18 TDI :) I love driving that car...and in general all the LMP1 cars... :)
On the opposite, the BMW 1er M and A-klasse 45 AMG...too different from the reality so far.

McLaren 12C GT3.. great all rounder.

Formula A.. Incredible Helmet cam view (so much better than the other cars helmet cams IMO).. and nailing those corners at high speed is a great feeling. :)

Yeah, the street cars are.. Not my favorite. I don't drive any of the road cars, ( except the Zonda ) but that's ok.. Pretty much all the race cars are awesome.

I forgot about the 12c.. And you are right, it is a great all around car. It is probably my third most driven car on the game.

There are so many that I like. Hmm
BMW Z4 GT3 - Visually and by handling it's most likely my favorite modern race car
BMW M1 Procar - Just love that one, fantastic drive.
Ariel Atom Mugen - Drove that so much in the early days of WMD and still love it.
I also love the 90s DTM cars ^^

I have always been a big WEC fan, so the GT3 and LMPs were all a big draw for me. But, I started an invitational last night using the BMW 320 Group 5. Oh. My. Gosh.

SMS have nailed that car, it is absolutely brutal to drive, sounds ridonculous and looks mental. Racing round Imola was probably the most rewarding and satisfying experience I have had on Pcars to date. I slipped up on the second to last lap on turn 2 and the second place guy slipped past. The final battle that ensued and a risky pass round the outside at Tosa on the last lap cemented my love for this car.

For me it's the Escort RS1600 because it's not the fastest car out there or the best handling but when you manage to get it right and string together some great racing it's pure pleasure :).

I took that for a couple of time attack laps on cadwell park the other day.

Yeah, get it above 7000rpm and it just goes ballistic. Short shifting is needed out of slow corners but once you get to unleash its full potential it goes like bonkers.

Audi R8 LMS, love the sound of that V10.

Yes! And such a technically sophisticated car.. Two nights ago, I hit an apex so perfectly ( to me, anyways.. I was probably way off ) that I went in to replay, slowed it down and made a clip out of it. There is something very satisfying about the balance they achieved with this car on the track.

Ginetta G40, gonna buy a real one!

Go get 'em Beagle! I really enjoy going out in a light weight car that can really reward you for taking the perfect lines.. Or really punish you for botching it all up. A car like that will make a driver out of you!

Formula A or the 250 kart.

Both are very raw and razor sharp. You know, most people start out in the karts and then, if they impressed the right people through the years, get to drive F1 cars for a living. I don't think it is a coincidence that you chose these two.. Schumacher, is that you?

Caterham Classic 7. Something about low power and low grip that is just amazing.

The Lotus 7 is without question, an iconic car. And then Caterham got their hands on it.. Ya know, when I think about low power and low grip, I can't help but think about my Moms' Rascal motorized scooter. I've definitely had some fun on it. Maybe you are on to something?

Ford Sierra RS500 Cosworth - Sounds awesome. Brings back some memories of my youth. Plus, it's really fun to race with.

A memorable car for sure.. In fact, a friend I grew up with that races in the World Challenge series, his Dad had a poster of this car in his shop. He had lots of posters of this car, actually. If big John approves.. it's a great car.

The high-def hot hatch! I haven't driven one of these cars in real life, but I've heard a lot of good things.

I tell ya, I will never forget every single car I have ever owned. It's really special when a car has gone through life with you through the ups and downs. Looks like you were very fortunate to have owned such a "driver's car."

GT3 Aston V12 at the minute.

Pretty much whatever I'm running through career though. The Lotus F1 car with boost turned right up is insane also.

Ohh yes.. Those older F1's are just bonkers! Always at the forefront of technology and usually throwing "safety" out the window. Speed used to be the priority. Unfortunately, and I hate, hate, talking about this, but we have lost some incredible people on the race track. Even though safety has gone up, these cars operate at the highest level and will continue to be a double edged sword.

I saw a post a few days ago about turning the boost up on that ol girl and I did it. Short shifting, definitely a must! She does give you a warning though..

Yes, yes, yes and YES. I am a very loyal BMW fanatic and as long as you have BMW and GT3, a good time will be had by all. I've driven both of these cars in the game and have to agree with you completely. The Ariel Atom is just a mental car, no matter what engine is bolted in. I remember when I first started reading about the car and I just could not wait to drive one. DTM is without question one of my all-time favorite series and without question, had some incredible German muscle.

I have always been a big WEC fan, so the GT3 and LMPs were all a big draw for me. But, I started an invitational last night using the BMW 320 Group 5. Oh. My. Gosh.

Ya know, I could not agree more. The car is definitely mental, but very rewarding when you are in tune with her. The first track I lapped with the 320 on PCars, was Imola. Imola is a beautiful track and I figured it would be a great place to get to know the car. The sound and the composure is, as you put it, "most satisfying," and I agree completely!

For me it's the Escort RS1600 because it's not the fastest car out there or the best handling but when you manage to get it right and string together some great racing it's pure pleasure :).

Absolutley! Some of the most rewarding cars are the ones that aren't just raw and razor sharp, but have a human element, almost. Character, I call it.

Ruf RGT-8

The oversteer is so much fun!

Last night, I gave the RGT-8 GT3 a proper flogging around Dubai and fell in love with the precise turn-in. I've driven a few 911's and have to say that this car is a great example of PCars replicating a car's unique characteristics in real life, and bringing them into the game. Some folks don't like a whole lot of over-steer, ( ask all the guys that bought 911's in the 70s and 80's and didn't know not to lift in the corners ) but I love it. This car goes down, in my book, as one of the greatest GT3's of all time..

I was thinking last night that we should start a league using exclusively the RGT-8. Now that would be fun!

Lotus 78 this car it's so awesome. It's great to feel the grip generated by ground effect.
Ruf gt3 it's so great that sms put this car in the game. Much greater is thats the 991 version. Its a dream to feel the suspension. Then the car has a great motec display where you can see everthing very easy when you're in the race. Btw the aston gt3 is awesome too

Yes, the Lotus 78 is an asset to the game, for sure. Just be easy on the throttle, as that turbo will not have mercy on the rear tires! None.

I absolutely love the 250 kart. Those things are so sick. I didn't even know there was such a thing until I played Cars. Those 250 karts at top speed is so fun.

Fun for you, insane to others.. Haha. I remember when I was a young boy, my Dad and I were at a race shop and they had a bright yellow Penzoil racing kart. I had a little kart at home, but nothing like this one.. Anyway, I asked my Dad if mine was faster than this one and every person in the room laughed and my Dad nicely told me that no, mine was not faster. I was a little embarrassed, but I was young. Apparently that specific kart had just dominated in a series and had broken a few records.

Pagani Zonda R! love The handling and love The scream!!

You got that right, friend! I always turn my Astro A50's up a bit when using the Zonda's.

Hey, you don't always have to win to have a lot of fun! The McLaren 12C GT3, in my opinion, is probably the most balanced and composed race car on the game. Late model McLaren's are very sanitary. While they are wonderful cars, to me, they lack the rawness of the early McLarens.

I absolutely love the BMW M1 ProCar, it just LOVES being thrown around the track, especially on Zolder! My WORST car is that hunk of shit Escort Mk1, a rear wheel drive understeering, underhandling, knackered gearbox pile of crap of a car that feels worse than a front wheel drive car. It gets stuck in 3rd where I have to downshift it manually to 2nd or it bogs down. Typical Ford. I had an Escort in real life 1995 that was marginally better but still underpowered, horrible on motorways, never went back to Fords after that, been Vauxhalls or Japanese cars ever since.

Havent even tried all the GT3 cars and Ive only tried 1 - 2 cars from each class. But ive played the game over 48 hours now according to my driver stats.

It started with the Formula 1000s, then went to the GT3 class and currently, I'm hooked on the Group 5 class, although they're incredibly frustrating and somewhat unpredictable as to when they might lose control when accelerating or under heavy braking (ie, when the AI decides to almost come to a dead stop at the start of some races).
