Can anyone tell me as to why my engine keeps blowing up during Le Mans?

Did for me loads of times. You've either bumped something, and done damage, check water temp under 100 and oil under 110 was what worked for me - as soon as they hit those numbers pit for repairs, was the only way I could finish at first - even taking out a bollard will blow your engine about 2-3 laps later., or your downshifting too early and over revving the engine. Both mistakes I made.

If your not doing damage and are still having issues open the radiator in the tuning settings. Damage and shifting are key. Whenever I bump something I always switch to the oil pressure screen on the motec. I know when I've done damage because temps climb immediately. Also shift before the redline.

LMP's are real sensitive to bumping, also opening the radiator helps the cooling

I've found you can't lower the radiator % much on one of the LMP's so might be the case for a lot of them.

that might be an lmp2 car but as far as lmp1 you can change the radiator %, all cars really should have that option

You've misread,

Presumably he meant without causing damage.
