Hi.

I've used the FoV calculator for my setup and got a figure of 39 on cockpit can which looks spot on.

The problem is that I'm trying to replicate that view using the helmet cam with the helmet shown but can get it to match.

If I put helmet camera at 39 I don't see the edges of the helmet as I'm expecting.

Any suggestions?

Try moving the seat maybe?

Moving the seat won't move my head inside the visor though, will it?

Plus I'm on PS4, and we don't have those luxuries easily available....

Are you using the FOV Sensitivity settings too? (where it pulls in and backs out as you go?)

If so, then your values are overriding your initial FOV settings (39) and is making the initial view very, very close. (which is why you can't see the edges)

You mean, the side edges of the helmets? or the vertical edges?

Not sure, I'll double check next time I fire up the game.

I can't see any of the edges, but I would expect to see the horizontal ones....

I am also looking for a solution to this. I am running low FOV settings of 70 on helmet cam and it makes the helmet itself and its vignette effect invisible.

Turn helmet on the game off, use your own helmet.... :triumphant:
Your only soluttion is turn FOV a little up im afraid...

Vignette... so far i do not understand the meaning of this option/effect.

^^^ That's when the edges of the screen are faded out slightly.
