I don't know about anyone else, but I just can't keep track of which group meetups or leagues are out there or what day of the week and time they happen. I'm hoping this thread become a one-stop shop for those looking to join a group or league by listing them out by the day and time they get together. It can also be used as a tool for league organizers to set up their league in a time slot not being used by another group to help maximize participation. But to do that I need to gather league and group meeting times and information first.

What I need from each group or league leader is a set of information so I can get it organized all neat and tidy. Please send this information by either posting in this thread, sending me a PM, or by sending me a message on steam (link to profile in sig) and I'll get this OP updated. PM plus posting in this thread is the most reliable method to get me this information. This thread will be updated with new info by 5AM GMT The day after I receive it, and if it's not up by then I either haven't had internet access, I'm dead, or I didn't get the info.

I'll be sorting by day of the week first, Sunday-Saturday, and then ordering by start time, Midnight to 11:59PM. All times and dates will be adjusted to GMT prior to posting in the OP, and I will assume all times given to me are in GMT unless otherwise stated. I recomend using this website http://localtimes.info/difference/ for your timezone changing needs.

From each group/league Organizer I need:

Name of Organization
Link to Website
Link to Forum Post
Link to Steam Group
League or Friendly Get-Together
Registration Required
Location of Host, dedicated or not
Expected Location of Drivers
Day of Week
Expected Time the Lobby Opens, in GMT please
Expected Time the Race Starts, in GMT please
Car Class
Expected Race Length (If it's a multi race session include number of races and expected length of each race)
Other Info you think I need to know but forgot to request
Brief Message (Max of 140 Characters, please, but I wont cut you off if you go longer)

Which will be turned into something that looks like the examples below. If a single group has multiple leagues and casual/friendly get-together nights I will treat them as individual events, so please send the information needed to do so. Anything not given will be left blank, and it's hard for people to decide to join your race when they don't know what they need to know.

Reminder: All times are adjusted to GMT; Each day starts at Midnight and ends at 11:59PM. As an example, this means an event hosted Tuesdays at 7PM EST will show up on this list as an event hosted Wednesdays at Midnight GMT.

Virtual Sports Car Racing
(Website (http://www.virtualsportscarracing.com/))(Forum Post (External) (http://vscr.createaforum.com/project-cars/pcars-retro-series-not-another-dry-track-cookie-cutter-series))

Organized League, preregistration is required.. Lobby opens at 2:00AM GMT; Races are expected to start by 3:00AM GMT and are 150 to 300 KM in length. Real damage is on, Manual Clutch and H-Shifter is required.
Dedicated US Host, and no regional restrictions for drivers.

League Message: There are lots of leagues running cars that are easy to drive and use forgiving rules with limited damage and perfect weather. Those races are fun, provide close racing and are great for what they are. This league is more realistic, with random weather, no automatics, no auto clutch*, no flappy paddles* and real damage in long races. You'll end these races with a little sweat on your brow. This will be the toughest series you've run.

*penalties for auto clutch or h-shifter. My apologies if you don't have a clutch or h-shifter, this is not the league for you though.

Project Cars Drivers Club
(Website (http://www.pcdc.link/))(Steam Group (http://steamcommunity.com/groups/ProjectCARSDriversClub))

Organized League, preregistration is required.. Class varies from season to season, currently Formula Gulf and Radical. Lobby opens at 7:00PM GMT; Races are expected to start by 7:30PM GMT with 2 Formula Gulf races that are 30 minutes each followed by a 1 hour race in the Radical
Dedicated Host in Germany, and no regional restrictions for drivers.

League Message: We are a close knit group of guys who love to race together on the PC version of Project CARS. We have members from all over the world and run a variety of league, one off and casual events. We have an online endurance race between seasons where members form teams and have to do driver swaps.
For more info on this check the endurance racing section on our Steam group.

AOD GT3
(Website (http://www.clanaod.net/))(Forum Post (http://forum.projectcarsgame.com/showthread.php?25394-Clan-AOD-is-recruiting-clean-racers!))(Steam Group (http://steamcommunity.com/groups/AODPC))

Organized League, preregistration and a microphone is required.. Class is GT3, but is subject to change. Lobby opens at 7PM GMT; Races are expected to start by 8PM GMT and are about 20 laps in length.
Dedicated Host on USA East Coast, and no regional restrictions for drivers.

League Message: AOD is much more than just a league, we are a multi-game clan that has a Project Cars division within it. We in that division structure and operate the league racing.

RWB Racing
(Website (http://rwb-racing.enjin.com/home))(Forum Post (http://forum.projectcarsgame.com/showthread.php?35423-RWB-racing-Looking-for-clean-dedicated-racers))

Organized League, preregistration is required.. See website regarding car selection. Lobby opens at 8:00PM GMT; Races are expected to start by 8:30PM GMT and are 10 laps in length.
Dedicated UK Host, and no regional restrictions for drivers.

League Message: RWB Racing started off on Toca 3 with a group of friends in the UK (real friends), we are expanding to include good clean racers and currently have 150 odd members on Steam and about 30 registered on the website are regular, trying to build up a daily lot of racers to have closed room racing, we will be holding close rooms Monday for random racing and will be another League race starting up on Friday.

Voice chat on Skype, not required but useful, we run real weather, assists on if required, you can switch your own off

I think this will be worth a sticky once it starts getting populated. Or now, now is good too.

So this must be a good idea if it gets a sticky before any usable information gets added. The sticky will absolutely help with visibility in getting this information and making it accessible to all, so thank you for that. I just sent a PM to every thread creator for each group/league on the first page of the Multiplayer Event Planning section, so hopefully I'll get something to update the OP with shortly.

Please spread the word about this thread to any and all group/league Organizers out there. Lets make this as comprehensive a list as we can make it.

Thanks, I'll get the OP updated when I get to a computer later tonight. On a phone now, just wanted to acknowledge these last posts.

Keep em coming!

Edit: Also, I want to make it clear that this isn't for organized leagues only. If you are part of a group that has a weekly get together of random races and want more people to attend regularly, send me your info! The only requirement I have to be included is that your group has a set time every week they get together to race. No website, steam group, or even forum post is necessary. Use a password? No problem, just include details on how to get the password (this would also be where preregistration comes into play).

Edit2: And OP updated. If anything is not correct let me know

Veevee

That'd be a great idea. First thought I had would be a place where a league organizer could enter a date and time, with a place to make it a one time event or one that repeats weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly (Edit: And input info about the league itself, of course). Maybe have the website populate a calendar with the events where the end user could set it to display a specific period of time from a whole month, week, single day, and even down to a specific time period within a day. Think how google's calendar shows you your schedule.

However, I'd only recommend continueing with the thought if you're perfectly ok with it failing after putting in all the hard work. Not saying it won't get the traffic needed to make it work, but the odds are always long in that regard and it will take a lot of traffic to make it really work as intended.

Thank you for the information @moogleslam but one quick question for clarity. For the American league, you say Thursday at 00:00 GMT (8pm EST/EDT), but 8pm EST is 1AM GMT. I have it set for a 1AM GMT lobby open time, if that is not correct let me know. Also, because timezones are tricksy, would that league be Wednesday or Thursday night for an American?

And thanks for the update @AOD_Venom if there are any other changes let me know!

Also, for anyone else out there running a league or group, please drop me a pm with your info or post it here. I don't have the time to find the information for leagues on my own, so this thread depends on other people providing the necessary information. I sometimes have the time to look for other leagues, but that time is very few and far between. The more information the OP gets the better it'll be for everyone.

And don't forget, a regular get togethers that aren't league related are very welcome as well! If you've got a regular race night doing random tracks and/or classes and would like more people to know about it let me know and I'll get it put into the OP.

Please add our league to the list:

CanAm Virtual Racing Leagues (CanAm VRL)

CanAm Virtual Racing Leagues (CanAm VRL) is a 4+ year old league of like minded racers. We were originally founded under the PlayStation Network within the Gran Turismo series. With the launch of Project CARS, many of our members have made the move to (or back to) the PC sim world, and we are looking to increase our membership.

We are a group of dedicated, hardcore racers (many with real world experience) who strive for the utmost in realism in our racing. Races are run bi-weekly with an average 2 hour race duration (plus practice and qualifying session).

While we are "hardcore" in our approach, we welcome all skill levels and ages. Our main focus is on Driver Etiquette. Our current membership ranges from 17 years of age to 50 years of age with varying skill levels.

We are currently planning out our first Project CARS (on PC) season to start in the fall. We generally run 15 - 16 races per season, racing every second Saturday. We have both a Driver's and a Team's Championship. We pride ourselves on clean, controlled, well organized and professionally run races. Our objective is to mirror a real world racing series as closely as possible in the virtual world.

Anyone interested in joining should visit our website and register with us.

Website = http://canamvrl.no-ip.org (http://http://canamvrl.no-ip.org)
Steam Group =http://steamcommunity.com/groups/canamvrl/ (http://steamcommunity.com/groups/canamvrl/)

You can also add me to your Steam Friends list (SteamID: F1_Racer68)

Season Schedule

CanAm VRL will be running a GT3 season as our first one in Project CARS (8th since the league was founded). Venues are yet to be decided, but the schedule has been determined for our first season. In keeping with our goal of replicating a real world racing experience, events are scheduled every second Saturday.

Event dates are as follows:

November 14th
November 28th
December 12th
December 26th
January 9th
January 23
February 6th
February 20th
March 5th
March 19th
April 2nd
April 16th
April 30th
May 14th
May 28th
June 11th

Please note that we are based in North America. Races will be held Saturday evenings with the lobby opening at 21:00 (9:00PM) Eastern Time.

Venues are being selected based on member input. Anyone interested in joining us should register on our site and add your vote to the list. We currently have 14 drivers registered for the first season.

RWB Racing started off on Toca 3 with a group of friends in the UK (real friends), we are expanding to include good clean racers and currently have 150 odd members on Steam and about 30 registered on the website are regular, trying to build up a daily lot of racers to have closed room racing, we will be holding close rooms Monday for random racing and will be another League race starting up on Friday.

As our goal is to simulate the maximum level of reality possible, our schedule will also reflect this approach. We will race every second week (as would most racing series). This will allow Drivers and Engineers time to prepare their cars and themselves for each venue. It will also allow the far more important aspect of giving everyone a free weekend to spend with their significant others so that we can happily continue our hobby :D

This schedule will be updated on our website in the Calendar shortly. Please be sure to refer to the website for all updates an schedule changes.

See you on the track!!

EDIT:

Our full calendar schedule has now been updated on our website. Each Calendar entry now contains Venue, Laps, and Estimated miles per race. Races will range anywhere form 190 Miles per event to 250 miles per event depending on venue.

Please see http://canamvrl.no-ip.org (http://canamvrl.no-ip.org/) for full details.

Expected Location of Drivers- US, EU, Australia, NZ

Day of Week- Tuesday

Expected Time the Lobby Opens, in GMT please- 0200 Saturday morning GMT (9 PM EST)

Expected Time the Race Starts, in GMT please- 0400

Car Class- Retro- clutch and h-shifter preferred, but any open

Expected Race Length (If it's a multi race session include number of races and expected length of each race)- 1-2 hour races
-40 min practice, 15 min quali, 5 min warm up. Race length from 150 to 300 KM

Other Info you think I need to know but forgot to request- This is going to be a hardcore, real damage series with longer format races using the manual clutch and h-shifter

Brief Message (Max of 140 Characters, please, but I wont cut you off if you go longer)- There are lots of leagues running cars that are easy to drive and use forgiving rules with limited damage and perfect weather. Those races are fun, provide close racing and are great for what they are. This league is more realistic, with random weather, no automatics, and real damage in long races. You'll end these races with a little sweat on your brow. This will be the toughest series you've run.

CanAm VRL is currently planning our next season which should begin in July. It will be a split class series using LMP2 and GT4 cars.

Check out our site at http://canamvrl.no-ip.org for details and to sign up!

We will use the following cars:

LMP2 - This class consists of 4 cars.

Alpine A450
Marek RP 219D LMP2
Oreca 03 Nissan
RWD P20 LMP2

GT4 - This class will be limited to the following 4 cars:

Ford Mustang Boss 302R
Aston Martin Rapide Hybrid S
BMW M3 GT4
Toyota GT86 GT4

The new season is expected to start in early July. We have 2 races left in our current season, and will need some time for putting the track schedules together and to give drivers a chance to select their car of choice.

East Coast Racing is a Canadian group on the Altantic coast looking for drivers interested in participating on Monday nights in the UTC -3 time zone. We run one practice session on Monday nights in the same time slot. All skill levels of drivers are welcome. Series typically run 10 weeks although we are running an extended series through the summer to get us back to September. If you are looking for a competitive environment where the focus is on the fun side please check us out.
