Hello community,

as many of you may have noticed we have a new function added to the forum: SMS Posts and Moderator Posts

You find the buttons on the top left just below the Project Cars logo.

205831

Clicking those buttons will bring up the most recent posts made by our staff. Separately for the Slightly Mad Studios guys and the forum moderators.

The idea behind this is to enable everybody to catch up easily on the staffs activity without the necessity to create individual searches or browse every thread.

Enjoy!

Brilliant response to some of the comments on the latest patch thread, more and more impressed on a daily basis. The 'search' issue was raised yesterday, SMS have looked at is and provided a solution them quickly implemented too.

You should click this button first thing in the morning (after hitting your snooze button), it's the best way to keep up with important news and information around here.

At last!

Thanks.

This is exactly what I was clumsily trying to achieve with this thread a while ago (before massive link failures..!):

This was a much needed feature considering the amount of helpful posts you can find this way. Thanks guys!

Great feature, one suggestion maybe take out the replies of mods and just concentrate on the devs? Otherwise it will be full of 'don't double post/you have been warned/please stay on topic' posts?

Updated. There's now two buttons for DEVS and MODS.

Good stuff!

I wonder if there's a way that you could configure the forum to remember the last post that I read in a thread so the next time I visit that thread it'll take me back to my next unread post?

It's just hard to keep up on some of these big threads when I'm put back on page 1 each time and don't have any good idea where I last left off at.

It seems to already be there for me - View First Unread. I just have to remember to mark the forum as Read every so often

Yeah at first i thought the notifications on the top of the forum would give you notifications of replies to watched threads, and people quoting your posts. Maybe an idea for the future?

It actually does that already. Click on the little blue icon next to the thread name:

You also find the same icon on top of every thread that is unread next to "View First Unread"

Are there any plans/options for using tapatalk with this forum?

It is a wise decision and more usability for we yours fans to find the right information without having to peel a ton of stuff unnecessary or false. Thanks a lot !

Probably also because on most other forums the devs don't post as much. The feeling of actually being heard is real now :)

I thought this was a great idea until when I clicked the link I realized there are 100s of out of context posts instead of staff created threads. great...

And hopefully the noise will die down as some members realise we'd much prefer useful discussions.

I think (hope!) we're nearly there now.

Well if I had a team name to choose for the devs.......TeamHuman or TeamPeople. Maybe a good slogan along the way too :p

After downloading the last update I have this problem.
In the Ginetta G40 UK Challenge, after the mandatory pitstop in race 2, the car acts different, steering is not accurate anymore, the tyre indicators are red and the car is losing power!

Who can help me with this????
