First American car I get an invitation to drive and the car is undriveable. Ive tried every setup from here to kingdom come and the car is horrible. I guess the euros are still pissed off at AJ Foyt and Gurney for winning the 1967 24 hour Lemans in this car so SMS made it a POS.

That '67 win still hurts really deep, please don't mention it again! :D Agreed it's the hardest car to control and has no brakes either. I suspect it was a fricking tough car to drive in real life too. I've not found the secret either but hopefully someone has some tips and tuning ideas.

Tough to drive fine....but it has grip equal to driving on a sheet of ice, no car should spin trying to accelerate on a straight away already in third gear, lets get real.

I have a love / hate relationship with this car. Things are improving thanks to all the help contained in this forum. Try using the search function guys...

All were ford engines. The best quote from '67 was AJ Foyt calling the lemans course "nothing but a lil old country road" pissing off the Frenchies. Foyt proved he could drive anything anywhere. Only winner ever of Indy 500. Daytona 500, 24 hrs lemans and 24 hr Daytona. Im sure if he drove F1 he woulda won that too. He left that to his buddy Mario Andretti.
