Merc C-class coupe DTM....

How do I get the rear of the car to stop scraping and crashing into the ground. I keep grounding the car, on the bumps on various sections. I never knew there were so many bumps, LOL

My ride height is at full height, front and rear, and it still hits the ground. Is there another way of increasing the ground clearance? Or, is it just the way it is, the track is just that bumpy?

Dont think there would be much left of the underneath of my car, after half a lap. :D

check your bump stops?

If i increase them, will that lift the chassis off the ground?

it will help raise the rear end but be aware it may change the handling

Increase spring rate front and rear

I'd do that before increasing bump stop

Solved bottoming out issues I had tuning LMPs at Bathurst. That's bumpy too but not as bad as the green hell.

I wouldn't worry too much about scraping noises unless its actually throwing your car around unpredictably

Let us know how you get on. Could save others some time in the garage, thanks.
I had a quick tune of it yesterday and found its the front that scrapes, I was on Catalunya GP and a 20mm front bumpstop cured most of it! The tune posted somewhere. Lovely car its a 50/50 design, easy to tune.
Haven't done the ring yet:rolleyes:
