Hi all

As you may know, the thrustmaster dominates the steering wheel format for ProCars at the moment

Question is, which ones is better?

I've read many of reviews and watched YouTube reviews but I'd like to know from you the gamers

T100 or T300RS or T300GTE

I've read that logitech will be bringing one soon, end of the year if anyone can confirm??

I had the driving force gt on PS3 and loved it

If I could, I would invest on PC gaming and the gear and go all out on simulators etc. But its PS4 or nothing I'm afraid for me

So what is everyones thoughts

Thanks

Would be fantastic to have Driving Force GT working with PS4. :(

T80 is cheap if you can find one and has FFB.

T80 has no FFB, it uses bungee cords to center the wheel. T100 is the cheapest option with FFB for the PS4.

T100 as i understand is similar to the logitech DFGT which i was perfectly happy with for 5 or so years
T300 is alot better than the DFGT in everyway imo and def would recommend

Between the RS and GTE they both basically exactly the same just different rims which would come down to personal preference.
Having had the RS and now got the GTE i prefer the GTE as some of the buttons are easier to reach

T300RS & the F1 wheel add on if you've got the cash.

T300rs. Or the occasionally creaky wheel gte. I had a t80, its ok, but even ignoring the force feedback aspect it is worlds apart from the t300.

picked up T80, nice wheel. Last gen I played with the Driving force GT. The bungy on this does fine for a third of the price. Not dropping $300 for another wheel to not be supported in future.

T300rs here, feels fine, good ffb and accurate. Have a fanatec cs v2 on order for june will be able to compare, hoping the price difference reflects quality?

Just ordered a T300GTE, the way I see it, you can have a wheel that looks like a PlayStation product (RS), or a wheel that looks like a Ferrari product (GTE). I know which one I would choose :)

I was very hesitant to drop the cash on the T300, but after using it in Driveclub, Asetto Corsa and now Project CARS, I am extremely happy I went for it. Really excellent wheel.

Still have the DFGT? Might be support coming for Logitech wheels soon...

Why?

I've had both a T500 and a CSW, the Fanatec is so much smoother, it also has a better pedal set and shifter. It costs more, but it's worth it to not have a Thrustmaster wheel.

T300 RS here.
Not had any problems with it for the three months I've had it. Upgraded the pedals to the T3PA's but will further upgrade to the PRO's when back in stock. Also grabbed the TH8A shifter from TM's online store. It was a used one (customer return) and was a steal at 65.99.
So, all in all, with buying the PS4 I've dropped almost 700 just for the one driving game :hypnotysed: and guess what ? Loving it.
I'm holding out hope that we'll get simultaneous DS4 pad and wheel use-ability otherwise it may mean getting the Ferrari F1 add-on wheel to map the buttons I need / want.
Build and performance wise, the T300 is a country mile ahead of the Logitech DFGT I had on the PS3 with GT5 and GT6. Also I pay little attention to the scaremongers who say the TM wheels are poor quality and break easily. Like any mass produced tech, there can be some that fall though the QC net, and people are always ready to report a fault rather than a good experience. I should imagine if folks reported their good experience, it'd out weigh the negatives !

T300RS too. Excellent wheel albeit for the stock pedals, but as 'thegt500' has done, you can always upgrade!. A friend of mine has T100 and is pleased as punch with them, certainly saves a lump of cash!
