Hello all, this is my first post on here. I've tried searching but had no success.

Is there a laymans guide to the visual settings? I am fairly new to PC gaming having moved over due the the non support of my G27 on PS4.

I have tried the game on an ageing CAD PC and had a bit of bother getting it to run smoothly, I played around with the setting that I understood like resolution, car detail, track detail etc but I have never dealt with things like:
Texture Resolution
Texture Filtering
V-sync
Anti-Aliasing
FXAA
SMAA
Particle Level
Particle Density

I've just had a budget gaming PC delivered (today and not even plugged it in yet!!) which has a GTX960 GPU and I'm thinking I may need to understand a bit more on these settings to get the best out of it.

I apologise if there is a guide somewhere and I've missed it but if not can someone give me some pointers please?

I love this site, should give you a good understanding of some terms used in pCARS graphics engine, even if it is for another game: http://www.tweakguides.com/Crysis3_6.html

Superb cheers!!

Why is there a selectable option in pCars for Anti-aliasing plus the ability to turn FXAA on/off and SMAA on/off?

A bit confused.....
