Hi Hondo,

Try to extract it with 7zip.
If you don't have it.
Here an other download link from Google Drive : https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4TQEJk778S7Z05fWkozMFV4dkk/view?usp=sharing

Can someone point me to where I can get more direction on setting up a DS? Like: Do I port forward all three Steam, Host and Query ports to the server? what are the ports for? What exactly is Bind IP? How do I enter the weather, track, cars information? etct.

Question,

When can we expect to be able to select the Car/s, Track, Weather etc with this or is that not possible. ?

So I am guessing this project has gone Flat Line no updates for a very long time.

Any News.

Hello guys,

Sorry for delay.
I was very busy and I didn't check the last updates.

I see a new GUI created by a member with all new settings.
http://forum.projectcarsgame.com/showthread.php?38221-Standalone-GUI-Dedicated-Server-Config-Generator-V0-80-Patch-4-0
You should use it because mine is OUTDATED and it's useless to update it if someone has already worked on a new one.

Ultimately it would be better if all 3 people who have made the Standalone DS configuration tools worked together to make 1 superior one. For example, Ichi's and your one are very well designed and written, where as the other software while it has a lot more features it's awfully designed and rather buggy/ugly and hard to understand.

I agree with you but we don't use the same programming language so we can't work together.
However, it could be interesting to make a specification with the community to have the fullest possible program.

Regardless of programming language (I think the one with all the features is done in autoit which is a pretty easy language), everyone can give ideas, suggestions, test... etc

It would be great to have a community driven configuration tool.
