Hi guys,

I went to the Zolder round of the Blancpain Sprint Series last Sunday and took some pictures, that can be found by clicking here (https://plus.google.com/photos/107889016322281369106/albums/6157689056597625825?banner=pwa)

Mind you, I'm not a pro photographer, just do this for a hobby and don't have that much experience yet.

Cheers,
Edje.

Thanks guys, really appreciate it. It was the first time I saw GT3 cars out on track, I usually do a lot of historic racemeetings. Used to be heavily involved in the Dutch oval racing (stockcar) scene, but somehow lost my love for it and made the change to the big tracks. I'm fortunate to have both Zolder and Spa just an hours drive away from home, with the Nurburgring at 2 hours, so plenty to choose from.

Great Pics,

It's been a while since i've been to Zolder, awesome track.
I've been to Warneton a couple of times recently, Oval racing, and banger cars, with a finale of caravan demolition race :p

Thanks.

I was fortunate enough to drive a couple of laps round Zolder in a BMW of a racing experience followed by riding shotgun with the instructor. That was a blast, especially when there's "real" racecars on track for a practice day. Of all the ovals on the mainland I've never been to Warneton, it's quite a long drive from where I live and I've got the Posterholt track within 20 minutes of my home, so if I ever feel the need to watch stockcars I'd be there soon enough. However, I prefer going to the UK for stockcar racing, it's a totally different world and I can highly recommend going to a big meeting over there.
