This limitation by Sony and MS not allowing manufacturers to make cross-compatible wheels is ridiculous, but I'm glad we're getting some new logitech love as well. Safe to assume pcars will support this as well?

Edit: just saw Ian's post here confirming compatibility: http://forum.projectcarsgame.com/showthread.php?30731-Let-s-talk-about-the-quot-Audi-Ruapuna-park-expansion-Pack-quot&p=982247&viewfull=1#post982247

Sweet!

"The Logitech G29 Driving Force will be available in the US starting July, with the G920 Driving Force starting in October with both wheels being fully supported in Project CARS at launch."

Incredible. Why in october for xbox one?? :(

i was syked until i saw the price. $460 with shifter? there are too many other options at that price. and i fear will be better. i love my G25 but i may be going the thrustmaster way when finds allow.

Logitech makes a solid product that generally has fantastic lifespan and aftermarket modding support. My only concern is that for $460, thrustmaster puts you into an already proven wheel with a variety of add-ons.

bummer - I was interested at first thinking they were releasing a DFGT level wheel for the xbox one. There is no low price FFB wheel. They need one around the $200 price point or just under.

why there is no shift led on the xbox version and less buttons?

:(

I may be wrong, but I seem to remember reading somewhere that it may be a limitation of the X bone rather than peripheral manufacturer choice. Might be possible to add more buttons, but not have them all individually mapped? So why increase cost by adding extra buttons that can only duplicate other buttons?

Like I said at the start though, I may have that wrong, maybe somebody else can confirm or correct my take on it?

I would have been interested had I not seen the PS4 version. It feels like we Xbox gamers always get shat on.

This. Especially as the price is the same for each wheel...

Wow, I hadn't noticed that the PS4 version had more features... wonder if that is a vestige of Logitech's previous partnership/agreement with Sony. I had a moment of remorse because I ordered a TX a couple days before this was announced, but I am definitely happier with my choice now.

I really want this, but at that price, I think I'd rather buy a PS4.

logitech g290:

400€ + 160€ thrustmaster shifter --> 560€ (460€ if you use logitechs shifter)

thrustmaster TX:

400€ + 160€ (shifter) + 110€ (3 pedals) --> 670€

if you dont want it to look like a ferrari all the time its 830€

so I would rather compare 830€ to 550€ instead of 400 to 400.

fanatec V2:

750€ base + 300€ GT3 Wheel + 100€ 3 pedals + 200€ h shifter --> 1350€ (cheapest version for pedals. if you go porsche wheel and better shifter/better pedals its 1870€)

Is that really what the TM pieces are retailing for in europe? I just paid $290 USD for the TX wheel and the T3PA are under $100 in many stores. makes that considerably more equal when you talk street price instead of MSRP

TX are currently crapping on Europe from a great height with regard to pricing......
