Alright, going to share this image I did for myself a while back to use as my laptop desktop background since it has proven very useful atleast to me, so maybe other people might find it useful too.

How do I read this thing then you ask?

Main groups (Prototype, Road, GT, Touring, American stock, Kart, Openwheel) are the ones you see first when you go select your vehicle.
Subgroups (for example Historic GT-Touring or Silhoutte-GT) are the ones that you can set the filter on while searching for lobbies, so you will know what to expect from the vehicle selection when going inside said lobby.
And finally, the car groups themselves are grouped so you will know what cars the other players will be able to choose if you choose a car from that group. If this makes any sense.

Initially did the background without this knowledge and without the slightlymadmultiplayercheatsheet text as just a background for myself, but later on thought it'd be helpful to have this for reference at all times while playing (on ps4).
Anyhow, hope someone gets something out of this! (EDIT. right click the image and view image to get the full size)

Oh my! This is awesome. :) I never know what "Touring A" refers to in the lobbies for instance. Terrific work, thank you! :)

Could I be a total pain and ask for a monochrome version (dark text on white/very light background) for printing? If it's a hassle then please don't of course. This is excellent!

:) :)

That text list is excellent, thank you! :) Haha, yes I get embarrassed too popping into lobbies then jumping back out as it's not the car I want to race! :) Aside: Mentioned elsewhere as a suggestion but would be really good to see specific cars shown on the lobby lists where applicable.

Yes, the menus as they are made me do the list in the first place :D Also I've been encountering this thing that annoys me to no end lately.. people who host a room, select a popular track/vehicle class, wait for the room to fill and then quickly change the track and/or vehicle. Seems people use that tactic a lot, or then again might just be me and my luck. Say for example, you keep refreshing the list for ages wanting to test out your newly built tune against real people on a certain track, voila! it pops up on the list, you go in excited but back out pretty soon afterwards :D

That is extremely annoying! Got good hopes that multiplayer lobbies will improve with the various fixes/feature additions headed our way in the coming weeks/months.
