So I normally play offline so my focus is there but can you currently set up a race with a mandatory pit stop in for everyone?

You can force pit stop by setting tyre and fuel use to high

Choose a really thirsty car and do a race distance that will require more than a full tank.

For example, I found that 15 laps of Le Mans 24hr circuit in LMP1 forces a pit stop for everyone.

a related question: speeding up time doesn't increase fuel usage, which makes sense, but does it increase tyre wear? And if so, is that a bit dumb or do you think it should be like that?

Someone did this to me in a Mclaren GT3, 15 laps round Spa, I didnt notice the Fast setting so I put in what would typically be enough fuel for 15 on Normal ... Was running out of fuel and was getting mandatory pitstop, ended up 45 seconds behind cause of it !!

Pit stops need to be working properly first, but i agree that this option is needed.

I would love mandatory stops, but like smoke said, the pits are too big of a gamble to force someone to use in their current state. If all (or at least most) of the bugs with the pitting were fixed, the option of mandatory stops would be greatly appreciated.

I get pit stops by increasing tire wear to x7. problem is that AI blow their tires on every race. This has already been reported on the "AI Discussion (all platforms)" thread. So, pit stops are a problem...so is accelerated tire wear :(

You possibly can force pit stop placing tyre as well as energy employ to help substantial.
