$400 for a few extra buttons and no shift stick? No thanks, I think I'll stick with my g27. I belive the only reason Logitech did this is to get some profit out of the next-gen consoles, as the g27 does not work on neither the PS4 nor the Xbox one. I would advise PC players to buy a g27 instead, saving $200 plus a shift stick.

That's an outrageous price for just a g27 alike wheel. Seriously who would bother, I am very confused.

Straight bullshit. There needs to be a boycott.

g27 doesn't work with consoles. Hope that answers your question.

No, that still doesn't answer my questions. G27 with pedal and shifter comes at 205 usd dollars, and this is selling for 406? (and maybe only for a wheel) no that's absurd. You would better buy t500 or t300 for that package. More worth it.

The way I see it, only for wheel this should sell at 100-145 dollars.

It is outrageous that Logitech has chosen this route , very disappointing for people that invested in the g25 and g27s ................................... Puts the hole chip BS to rest also.

There are a lot better wheels on the market anyway , save your money for a extra week and get something far better. The unfortunate thing is the new people that enter the market to buy have no idea and the thing will sell anyway , because electronic stores in my country anyway, stock Logitech off the shelf .........I have never seen a thrustmaster t500 or a fanatic product on the shelf in a store in qld Australia. I have seen a t80 ..

Its unfortunate .

I played with a G29 at E3, it's identical to the 27 in every way but button layout... And perhaps an rfid chip... What's the cost?! Shouldn't be more than 200 top with shifter and peddles.

Just to play Devil's advocate here:
I wonder if there were licensing costs from MS and Sony to allow it to be compatible with the latest consoles?

Can't think of any other reason for the price hike.
