Can't wait for to see new race tracks in the game. Can some one hint about the Track DLC? I feel there is too much time for it
PS: I wish they bring the Norisring street track to the game :star:

Already featuring the largest track roster of any recent racing game, Project CARS will continue to dominate with an additional 12 unique locations consisting of road tracks, historic locations, modern circuits, and ovals.

Grouped into Track Expansion Packs along with appropriate vehicles, players will therefore get access to the most iconic, beautiful, and contemporary locations throughout the year that continue to represent a truly global snapshot of racing around the world.

The first Track Expansion will become available in July so mark a date in your calendars!

Well, I'm hoping tracks could be free as not to divide the community while cars would be payable.

Creating tracks is way too much work to give them away for free.

I will pay $100 for my oval tracks! :p:p:p:p...$200 just for Daytona alone, being from Florida and all! (Kurt Busch 41)

Your maths is flawed here, but I'm sure SMS will like it. :p

That's the plan. Not sure how this will make the DLCs cheaper though...

I understand Ruapuna Speedway will be the next track released.
I have driven that as a MOD for Race07, and really liked it, so I am excited about it being done properly :)

Just btw. here is an onboard of it:

I'm 90% sure they are doing. Which is a pity, because I'm personally not interested in the cars :P

I was enjoying Daytona road course a while ago in PCars in very early stages...i "know" the course but there was not enough graphic landmarks at that early stage for me....then it was pulled from the track roster before the public release....so that location has to come soon which i'm looking forward to.

One small thing that bugs me about other sims version of Daytona road course is the countdown before the bus stop. I watched this season's 24 at Daytona to make sure of how it was done....with the 3 2 1, which PCars version does....but most other versions do a yardage (meter) (feet) sign thing which varies from sim to sim.

The tracks is one of the greatest things in pCARS for me, they are very well selected and done. Surrounding, details, textures, FFB. To do this takes much time that someone need to pay for. Better to pay 10€ for an excellent track than get a mediocre track for free.

It only has to be reasonable i.e., fairly priced.

The tracks in PCars are certainly not bad (could be said pretty well developed) but I find Assetto Corsa has superior tracks than PCars.
I love both games and now I have to buy both games' DLC's LOL. So I hope they will be reasonably priced i.e., fairly priced.

How about Mugello? I thought Mugello was in the development builds.
As for Daytona & Indianapolis I hope the road courses are included as well.

A bit too many ovals for my personal taste.
I'd rather have more GP tracks :(

Judging by the DLC they have already priced and released, there is no reason to suspect the DLC won't be fairly priced, no matter how they decide to distribute it.

I was lucky enough to participate in the Richard Petty Driving Experience at Daytona International in 2004. 16 laps in a NASCAR...alone. So much fun and a memory that will last a lifetime. 152MPH!

I love ovals!!! Thatīs a good number, you know, 6 tracks. Comparing to the amount of available tracks, itīs a small number, but enough. I guess more tracks would come, no need to worry. But have a stock car without a oval circuit makes no sense.

If the previous DLC is to set a precedent then it's great.

The Racing Icons race Pack.

The thing is some developers, like Paradox (let's name it, I hate it) milk their franchise so much. I love Crusader Kings 2 but the DLC's are way too unfairly priced.
I'm definitely not going to buy Crusader Kings 3 knowing how much they will milk it. How one prices its DLC's determines the success of the sequel title.

Nope...I had no idea. Unlike most games I play, SMS doesn't smack you in the face with 800 notifications about new DLC every time you log in.

I'll have to go home and look.

Thats true, and they don't ask for a go with your sister for it too. The price is very good and the Racing Icons Car Pack is awesome. ALL, I repeat, ALL cars are gorgeous and fun to drive.
