Lobby Schedule
Lobby open 9pm

-Qualification Round
4x 15 minute sessions

-Race 1
Q - 10min
W - 5min
R - 45min

-Race 2
Q - 10min
W - 5min
R - 45min

We cannot wait for people between sessions as the game will not allow it, There will be a 15 second gap between sessions. The 5 minute warm up is there for those who wish to have a quick break before the race, make last minute adjustments to their tune or set their pit stop strategy. There will, however, be a short break between races if needed.

Bottom 3 drivers of lobbies 1 & 2 will move down after each round
Top 3 drivers of lobbies 2 & 3 will move up after each round

Each Round will have set a maximum amount of fuel from race start

KERS is used in these cars giving them around 50hp boost, this can only be used once a lap. if you are in 1st position you are not allowed to use KERS until somebody passes you, if nobody passes you awesome, you are a super fast driver.

dates of races will be set to actual day each round
time of races will be set to midday

Race Rules
The standard OZFM code of conduct and race rules will apply.

***PLEASE NOTE***
THERE WILL BE NO RESTARTS, the game doesn't currently allow it. If you cause a collision that causes damage to other competitors due to poor driving and/or lag you will miss the next race. There will be no exceptions to this rule. If you are found to continually cause collisions due to lag or poor driving you will be asked to leave the series
Penalties and flags will be set to on, if you jump the start you will receive a drive through penalty, if the game deems you to have cut a corner you will receive a slow down penalty.
Please pay attention to the flags that will appear on the hud. When there is a yellow flag you will see it appear on the left hand side of the HUD and also on the track map. Please exercise caution under yellow flag conditions
A blue flag will also appear on the left hand side of the HUD. When you see this flag during the race you will be required to yield to the car lapping you.
Collisions are ON at all times as currently there is no way to turn them off.
Please show etiquette during qualifying a practice sessions. If you are not on a hot lap and a faster car is approaching please make room for them.
Faster drivers please remember to request room if you are on a hot lap

Liveries
Liveries will operate on a first come first serve basis. Liveries may be picked once. Once all livery options have been exhausted then duplicates will be allowed. See sign up thread for available liveries

I assume both of these bold things are to counter the currently hit-and-miss pit system with regards to some circuits giving you cut track slowdowns coming out of the pits? Because the tyre wear in the game is freaking awesome compared to Forza, but the pit system at the moment blows all the benefits away because of how flaky it still is.

We're hoping 2.0 update comes out and fixes some of the problems before our next series starts in July, we've got 16 drivers lined up for GT3's and if the chat issues are still present it's going to be an absolute prick of a task organising an alternative method of communication.

tyre wear is fine its just that we have noticed a few times when leaving the pits after a tyre change the tires will be ridiculously overheated, i cant promise that this wont happen and if it did that would surely suck. so to combat it there will be no tire changes until i can be sure tires are not going to do that. more testing after patch 1.20 and if all is good tyre wear will be changed.

Tyre wear has been introduced to the WEC series being run on OZFM, I will be doing some test's and it may be introduced to this series
