I have the same gear and used to have this error as well.
In my case this was fixed by not running fraps.

Not sure if its actually related to this error... But hey, it worked on my pc :)

It has become a regular problem for quite a lot of PC users and I've tried every suggestion with no success.
Steam shows I've only been able to play the game for 10hrs since launch because of this consistent crash.

Strange it only happens in pCars. I can play all my other racing games for hours with no problems.
They need to find a fix for this soon.

Considering this only happens to a few users out of thousands, it's hard to replicate and fix.

In addition, how are SMS supposed to fix this if nobody uploads their crash dumps anymore (MyDocuments\Project Cars\dbgSession)?
After all, they are not psychic.

Good point actually.

Please zip or rar the latest folder in 'Documents\Project CARS\dbgSession'

for example 'Dbg 2015-07-10 @ 21.50.51.zip'

^^^ So you are using the DK2? because you seem to have a problem with the 'LibOVRRT64_0_6.dll'

It would also help if you put your system specs in your sig.

It's better if you put your specs in your sig, that way you do not need to type them in every time you get a problem and it helps us to help you.

Do you still get the problem if not using the DK2?

I would also recommend reverting to an older version of the SDK that may still function.

I stopped the service and launched the game, same result.

Quite a few crash dumps listed in this largest thread on the forum .. here (http://forum.projectcarsgame.com/showthread.php?21981-Unhandled-Exception-Trapped-Unable-to-Play)
Still getting the same unhandled exception crashes.
