Is anyone working a WP version of a WP dash app? Hopefully a Universal app that can be used on all platforms...?

Something like HUD Dash or DashMeterPro?

I know pCars Dash is available but it doesn't display the info in a MoTec style layout... Was hoping to have something external so that I can adjust my FoV and not rely on the ingame wheel/dash for info...

Mods please remove if topic is inappropriate...

Yes, I have one in the works. It's a universal-ish app.

I've built it specifically for Phone/RT using the universal app model. Technically you could run it on a fully fledged PC, but you would still need my main app running on the pCars gaming PC. I don't have a timeframe for release, yet, but I have the core of it working. I'm just looking at how best to provide customisable dashes.

Here is a quick demo I posted a little while back showing it. I'ts not that impressive TBH, but it at least works ;)

I will be investigating adding Windows Phone 10 support with Project Astoria. No promises.

That is awesome! Thank you guys so much. Mikey I look forward to your app. I have two spare WP devices, I am using one for headtracking (cracked glass 925 woot!, opentrack rocks) and wanted to use the other for a motec HUD (cheap Lumia 521 for 20$)

I can't wait!

Flynny, your app would be awesome, from my own research with Astoria as long as your not doing any native google API calls, it should be a quick port into a universal app. I think they have a site up that allows you to drop the APK and it will check to see how much code you MIGHT have to change/update.

https://dev.windows.com/en-US/uwp-bridges/project-astoria there is a video there that showcases the process.

There is a Windows Phone version of my pCars Dash app linked from my website here (http://pocketplayground.net/pcars-dash.html). Just noticed the images on the store page are sideways for some reason, must have happened when MS migrated my account from the old windows phone developer account. The app looks correct on the device.

I hadn't seen this thread, but SimRacing Dashboard uses a browser based interface so it can run on any mobile device:

Is vrhive just for pc, or can I use it on ps4/xbox?

vrHive will take the UDP feed from PS4/XB1 and PC, it's just that vrHive itself runs on PC and not iOS/Androind.

I've started working on an app called pCars vHUD (name might change).
It will a Windows Universal app, reading from UDP only (at least for now). Eventually I might port to Android and iOS, but those two platforms already have good options, so, time will tell.
