Hello I'm a noon in sim racing/simcade. Started manual transmission recently. Have worse lap time.

Any tips from fellow racers?

H-shifter is faster than auto clutch if car doesnt have sequential gearbox. If gearbox is sequential then use paddle shifting.

That guy on the video lose me on the car description. uhahuahu

You have to practice, after a while the manual will feel natural to you and faster, more precise than the automatic. You've just started the learning curve of a manual transmission, it's normal to be slower than before.

With modern day cars though, the auto is more and more becoming the faster performance, but those cars are not even in this game.

Road cars, and some of them are. Sls, paganis, 1M, Mercedes a45, mclaren p1, audi r8 v10 plus. Race cars rarely have automatic transmission.

The sls and a45 are two cars that accelerate faster in automatic mode In real life. In the game I don't know. It's worth a test.

Sure is, I've yet to use the automatic transmission. But I'm having alot of fun over the last 48 hours, toggling TC and ABS on off in these super cars and feeling the amazing difference. I'll be sure to test an automatic version of SLS against driving it in manual.
