Hi Guys and Girls,

I'm new to the forums, I brought Project Cars 3 weeks ago and I have a slight issue...

On the Career Mode, why is the writing black but highlighting in Pink? I don't know if it's just my eyes but, I can read a single thing?

Any help would be appreciated!

:)

What kind of screen are you using?

And how far do you sit from your screen?

I use a 26" LED 1080P TV... Do you think I should adjust the colours?

I sit about 5-6 feet away, I wear glasses but they're for long distance only... E.g TV in the living room and at college

I actually have the same issue, i`m using a 32" 1080p LED screen. I cant read some of the career mails/contracts either (or at least very badly) I have tried to change the settings on my TV. Tried sitting closer/further away from the screen. It doesn`t help. My brother uses a 55" 1080P LED tv and has the same issue.

This is on PS4 btw

Yeah, I'm on the PS4 as well. We've both got the same problem! So it's just not my eyes! Is there anyway that the Developers can add an option in to change it?

Might be an LED thing. I have a 46" 1080p LCD and have no problems reading anything.

Just wondered what your settings within your PS4 are ie Video Output Settings for RGB / Deep Colour as have mine set to auto and my colours are fine on a LED TV

I've got this same issue with mine - looks exactly like the photo. Every other game looks ok, PS4 & TV settings are all ok, all my tv programmes are all ok to look at too.

That thin black text on darkish pink is just impossible to read, whether you've got your eyeball pressed up against the screen, or whether you go down to the end of the garden and look from a distance.

It's a bit like trying to read dark blue text when it's placed on a red background. I'm sure I've seen a thread about this somewhere already too, from way back at the start. :)

Have you got a game mode on the TV because that should sort your problem out.

I will check that. never had any problem with other games though. and it's just the career interface, everything else in the game looks fine.

I wouldn't say this is a led problem. It isn't for my led tv at least. I would play with some settings.

Yeah, it's just Career Mode for me too.

I`ve fixed it. I set my TV to "Game" and it was all good. The image mode i used before appearantly gave too much color to the image. Looks good now.

I wish I could read the game text clearly. I have a 50 inch plasma and 20/20 vision. I sit just over 2 meters away and find reading anything in the game a strain. Theres no surround sound in the game so my listerning position doesn't matter?
Setting the TV to game is a good idea, but if I do that on mine, I lose any fine adjustmemt of the screen!

instead of using a camera or cell phone, can you Pres the Share button and upload that picture instead.

if you have a FB account, you can post it directly to FB, then from FB you can Download it to your PC.

or you can Plug in a USB stick on the PS4, and copy it from the share to the Stick.

Yeah... Me too... Didn't even bring it up.. Just shook my head because the contrast of the two colors is terrible.. And I've tried adjusting my TV settings. (Samsung 40 inch LED TV with Monster HDMI cables)

Ive always had issues like this - i find the bigger the tv the better. These days picking up something around 55inch 1080 and 100motion rate is cheap. Buy one you wont have issues. 26inch is very small.

You probably have the saturation of your screen set way too high, that tends to make vivid colors "bloom" and messes with your contrast perception.

Try to proper calibrate the colors of your TV/Monitor using a sRGB or rec709 calibration pattern. And case you have any of those "show room image enhancers" that some TV screens use set to on (usually the default) I recommend turning them off and properly adjusting the panel. They do to your eyes and brain what McDonalds burgers do to your stomach and health.
