Exactly. We sold you half initially and plan to sell you the rest over the next year or so.

Well, it's semi legal. We checked with our lawyers and they mentioned that we could exploit you in this way with a very carefully worded TnC doc.

Decent dlc I have never moaned about.
Pay to win ? Fuck you.
Optional stuff that I COULD buy if I want something to add to the game? Ok I'll either buy or not.

But isn't this what we always wanted? That the developer doesn't abandon the game after release but keeps supporting it with updates and new content. Those notes should make people happy not sad.

This thread is the perfect example for how additional content can be perceived wrongly. Nobody would complain that the game was incomplete content wise if SMS wouldn't create new DLCs or put those "Coming soon" tabs in.
But as soon as you continue to add content people are screaming "You sold me an incomplete game to make more money!".

Maybe all the impatient whiners of Pcars should go join the shark fest that is F1 2015.. And then maybe they'll realise how greater thing we actually have here..

I went there for whole five minutes, I don't have stomach for that. Too much blood all around.

It's not for the queezy stomach lol.. Such a shame tho' it seemed to have promise..... Seemed.

However I wasn't nearly as excited as the announcement of the Pcars2 franchise expansion

You want an example of a game not finished, splatoon. New weapons and maps dlc almost every week. And so far each one is on the physical disk, just not ready to activate them. Nintendo fanboys are buying it up and they love it.

If they give them to you free what is there to complain about, now if the dlc was on disk and you had to pay extra, I can see complaining.

Great game, I just wish the career mode was more engaging. Great simulator though.

Why have you paid full price for this "not finish game"? I opted for the monthly installments. ;)

This is hilarious! So just because it says "Coming Soon" means we got an unfinished game. But if that wasn't there we'd have nothing to complain about in the first place. Gotta say, SMS asked for that one. ;)

It should say "Coming never", maybe the people keep calm then.

Or "Coming to pCARS 2". That would really get the panties bunching.

I can't believe I am agreeing with Bealdor (I feel dirty all over) but I do. Its very unfortunate that dev's can't create a game like pCars and then treat it as a platform. As a platform they could continue to refine and build on that game with paid DLC (much like how a MMO works). So what we get instead is a game and maybe some free DLC (is SMS planning on paid DLC?) and then the studio has to move on to their next revenue source (i.e. pCARS2).

My personal preference would be instead of seeing pCars1 and pCars2...pCarsn, each of which would be offering some new stuff, but also regurgitated existing stuff, we would just see pCARS, with some awesome PAID DLC packages on a fairly frequent basis. Lots of ways to go with this, but with the majority of the public having the attitude as described by Bealdor, devs have no options but to stick with the status quo.

Out of curiosity, what was your rate of interest? I think mine was quite fair (29.9% for 36 months).
